Great vid, I thought we’d see more of a review of the jacket itself. I’d been shopping specifically for a suede trucker. The Ryan Reynolds version is nice but pricey at $1k, found one I loved from satchel & page at $700, but it’s more of a statement piece than an everyday…I almost ordered the BR when it came out but I just didn’t like the way it looked in the pictures online…instead I ordered the suede trucker from Thursday boots…just got it two days ago and must say I am very impressed…it’s midweight, very well made and looks, smells and fits terrific…plus the price was nice at $360…I liked the way it looked online much better than BR and was why I was disappointed you didn’t show the jacket up close…

I am trying to decide between the BR and Thursdays suede Trucker. I've seen and tried on the BR. Nice weight , looks good, and definitely is made with very good quality. Haven't seen the Thursday boots jacket. Can you tell me more? I like their price better.

Well I'm sorry - you're right, I guess I kind of just used the jacket as kind of a jumping off point to talk about suede jackets in general and didn't give the BR version the most thorough of reviews with close ups, etc. - I'll try to be more conscious of that going forward. But either way - it sure sounds like you found a steal there with the Thursday Boots piece! I didn't even realize they made one at such a great price. I've heard nothing but good things about there brand, mostly about their boots - so its really nice to hear their jacket game is just as strong! Maybe if I get ahold of one myself, I can do a follow up episode one of these days. Thanks for the recommendation and looks like you've inspired another guy in the same thread with your suggestion - so awesome!

Now I’ve just gotta convince myself to buy another suede jacket for the review 😅😬 I bought my girlfriend the women’s version a few years ago - the suede was realllly soft and a bit thinner, which is nice for more year round wear. My only complaint was that the hardware was a little plain, but not a deal breaker - especially since the price is so reasonable. Worst case, they do have a good return policy….
