Absolutely Spiffing video Sir!! Well done to the Band of the Grenadier Guards! I had the biggest smile when they struck up with 'The Stars and Stripes Forever', our national march! Thank you dear Grenadier Guards. Loved The Stars And Stripes Forever and Malaguena. Glorious playing. A continually smiling few days we have enjoyed watching the Guards, the Troopers, the Gurkhas, the Royal Marines and the Royal British Legion. Very moving indeed.

Wonderful concert! Brings back memories of a younger me prepping before we did the Changing of the Guard on Parliament Hill (Ottawa). The band would warm up by asking us for requests. My favourites were the Thunderbirds march and the Imperial march 😊❤

For passers-by, the Paddington Station acoustics in combination with this lot must have generated quite an auditory experience . Great sound on the vid too. Bet a few commuters were late for work or appointments today.

It’s not Poppy Day it’s Halloween…Poppy Day is on 11th November.

‘Poppy Day’ and Armistice Day (11th November) are two different events. London Poppy Day, an event organised by The Royal British Legion is a fundraising event in the run up to the 11th November when service personnel and musicians take to London’s streets to raise money for the RBL’s charitable work which people support by donating and wearing a poppy. Armistice Day is on the 11th and where you have the silence at 1100. As you do mention it was Halloween, and the band’s to give a subtle nod to this by playing music such as Thriller and Ghostbusters that you can see in this video! I hope this answer helps.
