My mom avoided this song so much after my brother passed. Like she wouldn’t listen to any radio for months. One day when she was cleaning in the kitchen it was raining outside and she decided to turn the radio on. This is the first single she heard, after avoiding music all together to not listen to this song the one time she turns the radio on this is what she hears. From what she said the rained cleared for a few minutes and there was a rainbow outside. This used to be my favorite song before and now I love it but it makes me cry. He would’ve been 16 this month, I miss my best friend.

Because the God who made Israel, Gentiles, Earth, the Milky way, Universe, tells me I am an not a nobody, He knitted me in the womb, He knew me before conception, He knew my first word, my favorite color, my name. He knew me before everyone. I refuse to not believe in His promises, I refuse to not believe His overwhelming love, I refuse to not believe that He made me, I refuse to believe that I happened by chance with no purpose. The god of the world tells me I am an accident, that I am a nobody to everybody, that I am useless. But the God of the truth and light tells me He has known me forever, that I am loved by Him, that I have a purpose.

I remember my mom use to sit at our kitchen table playing her music from her laptop. Her speaker perched on top, she would reach over to higher the volume and say, "When I die, I want this song played at my funeral." Then she'll continue to sing her heart out. I never liked to think about the scenarios, but things happened. On August 29, 2017 it will be the two year anniversary of my mom's passing. Rest in peace mom, I love and miss you so much.

rip she is in a better place and just know that she is watching you every move and she is with you no matter what. She sounds amazing. I understand how it feels because my grandma sang to her hearts content and she got diagnosed with lung cancer and that still didn’t stop her from singing. July 10 is gonna be the 5 year anniversary of her death. May them sing and dance together with out the pain that tried to stop them.❤️❤️❤️
