The film, which was nominated for Best Picture at the Academy Awards, was directed by Martin McDonagh and stars Colin Farrell, Brendan Gleeson, Kerry Condon and Barry Keoghan. Is The Banshees of Inisherin a poignant examination of obsession, loneliness and the pointlessness of war, or should its demise have been foretold by a person whose identity may or may not have something to do with the title of this film? I basically agree with everything you said, a solid film that tries to be about a bit too much. I would have liked it to keep its "flat comedy" going throughout. Also the main character is really just too handsome for me to believe he's the unlikable one on the island.

I have! So I have a big new video coming out in a couple days that's taken up all my time and effort lately, which is almost a review if you squint at it enough, haha. But while I have seen movies I have thought about reviewing, I don't have any in the docket at the moment.
