Great video, I remember when I was a kid in the 70's, Morris the barber was the coolest guy. The barber shop was a cool place to go and wait, listen to the men talk about sports, fishing, work, or politics. I still remember the smell. About eight years ago I rediscovered the brush and mug, then the Safety Razor then the straight razor, I've managed to recapture the smell and the shave of the barber shop. Great to see someone respecting and carrying on the tradition.

Woody is spot on all the way! It is so hard to find a real barbershop today. Excellent video & I hope more of the young men today do consider doing as he has done and we start seeing barbershops make a comeback. Thank You!

I wanted to be a barber back in high school. I have 4 friends that are barbers the one with the most clientele makes around 44,000 a year which is really good for a barber. I'm not satisfied with that so thats why I continued going to school.

since my very 2º shave i always used an old school razor i tryed a couple of times with an electric razor... and it didnt feel right. it didnt shave properly it left uncut hairs all over the place i had to "shave" like 2 times, and it left the skin irritated next time i tried my fathers razor..... the clean shave 1º pass . that feeling on my skin its heaven... no irritations no nothing... if i dont use aftershave i have no problem not itchy just..... Perfection

I wouldn't say comb over. That's when your balding on top so you comb the hair on the side up over the top to the other side in an attempt to cover up the bald spots. Nothing at all like a side part (which isn't actually on the side of your head but on the left or right side of the top of your head). The guy in the video clearly wasn't balding on top/at all.

mmm oldschool feel...safety razors...passionate people...i'm saying atleast 50-60 bucks for a reg cut the works prob puts you at around 100 with tip prob sounds like typical LA barbers!
@jonbertocchi1737 жыл бұрын
John King fuck that I would not pay more than 11 for a regular cut.
@johnking26317 жыл бұрын
i dont think i've even seen less than 14 for a cut alone...and thats in the ghetto... on average for a full cut with a shave out here in LA you're spending atleast $30...if you're going somewhere decent thats 40-60...if you're going to a bomb spot $80+(the 80+ spots are usually celeb spots tho)
