Great view love opening owl pellets as a kid used to soak them in water and then work out what they had eaten

Great video. Your the very first youtuber i followed years back and are very much about the family farm, nature and true meaning of it and embracing it. Very down to earth. Pemperton is a good guy, but he's steered away from the family farm with big fancy machine and extreme infrastructure and huge planned expansion, very much a factory farm. Keep up the great work Richard!!

Lovely memories and cool owls and owl pellets! Ive been thinking of installing a bat house on one of our trees. I think you can clean and save the bones/skulls if you guys wanted! Maybe a rat, a squirrel, a mouse?

Richard, you should get some one to take that haybarn down and reerect it back at the farm. It's in perfect condition and really wouldn't cost that much to do .

owl pellet it’s a bit like opening a kinder egg. What a lovely treat for all of us Cheers, I was wondering if the second owl box is the larder for the first owl box 😂😂

It is wonderful that the shed is still there and there are active nesting boxes with young owls. 😊❤️

When my son was 5 or 6 and very interested in nature, my sister ordered some owl pellets from a science center. They were treated so that there wasn't any germs and he carefully opened them and tried to re build the vole/mouse. He was able to identify the animals eaten and glued the bones to a piece of paper and ID'd them. He proudly showed it to his first grade teacher. She looked at me and asked quietly, "do I have to touch it?" I assured her she didn't and then she was very impressed! Such wonderful experiences available for kids if you aren't afraid of a bit of nature.

What a wonderful sight to see, thank you for sharing Richard. A plentiful source of pellets shows they are eating well and thriving which is excellent news too. At last we are getting the countryside back to the past thanks to farmers like you.

That was an Amazing Video Richard, Thanks for sharing. The larger skull and brownish fur- Could it be a baby Rabbit ? A Barn Owl could easily take one.

I've just had my breaky and someone is opening partly digested poo on the screen, thanks for that 🙏😕 😅. Rich how were the owl boxes put up there? You would think the owls would tidy up around their home 😊. Nice footage, and I thought similarly about what you say about the green zealots...

Interesting vblog. Looks like Muller want only large stocks of dairy cows, and the small herds farmer won't have a chance 😢 Hope you're not one of them!
