The story of the Barton Family from ITV's soap opera Emmerdale.
Synopsis: Ashley heads straight round to John and Moira's to fill them in on the situation with Holly. They convince him not to call the police and tensely wait for her to return. Holly and Roz panic when John and Moira uncover the wrap of cocaine, and Roz is furious when Holly blames it on her and tells them their daughter has a drug problem.
Later, Holly can't meet her parents' eyes when they question her about Isaac's iPod. When Holly refuses to stop doing drugs, John sees red and disowns her. Will John be able to forgive his junkie daughter?
Meanwhile, Scarlett is on a mission to start her own business and ropes Eve in to help her.

Wow....I feel horrible after watching this! Holly needs to go to rehab, no question, but I can't believe John got so angry. Those were some pretty horrible things to say to/about his own daughter....

A teenager has no money so nicks an iPod to sell to get money for drugs and then doesn’t notice when the drugs go missing until you get home 😂 I don’t think so. Great acting loved the story

It's her own fault when she ended her life taking drugs in 2015, 5 years ago

@@johnmckinnon15 It was September 2016. Also, I'm not disputing that she was responsible for her own actions, I know she chose to take the drugs, but she did not intend to end her life. It was an accidental overdose. Holly had an addiction which is a disease, just because it's "her fault" as you put it doesn't mean we can't feel sympathy for her, for the fact she lost her life, for the fact she struggled with addiction.

@@johnmckinnon15 Holly had a track record of overdosing accidentally, each time she said she didn't mean to and the only reason she survived each one is because someone was able to get to her in time, but she'd overdosed in the middle of the night in her room when she died so no one would have noticed, it was probably accidental
