Emily depends on the country and strains of Catholic but as a kid who grew up protestant, and like Bart was definitely hyperactive, Yeah, the straightlaced protestant thing was absolutely torture. Ended up switching religions later as an adult, something much more emotional, lively, and passionate.

The bible has actually changed substantially over time, not to mention all of the various books categorized as gnostic, and the religions that followed them arbitrarily not being considered Christian. A brief example, the original text of the bible doesn't actually ban gay sex, it says don't have sex with your boy slaves. There are more changes, plenty more, the idea that catholicism is the original christianity is dead wrong. Countless very different christanities pre dated catholicism.

@@tylermcneeley3136 I left the church I grew up in a while ago, but the UCC(United church of christ) Has a policy of directly translating the earliest know records of each of the books of the bible to English. This means the one I grew up with is pretty different than the widespread versions. I cannot give you the exact passage, but I can share that when I went there at least, there where two PhD biblical archeologists who went to the church and took no issue with the translations. Yes earliest know does not necessarily equal first, but it's the best knowledge we have when it comes to the early bible. You can of course, arbitrarily say some versions count and other don't, as most christians do.
