there’s a sad truth in that comedy: nonalcoholic doesn’t mean no alcohol, it just means there’s less than a certain percentage of alcohol…sadly, it’s actually true for alcoholics that they can be so intoned to alcohol that they’re going to to relapse if they drink even nonalcoholic wine 😳 this is why nouthwash is banned from many sober houses!
@somehow_not_helpfulATcrap Жыл бұрын
Non alcoholic does not mean it has no alcohol. You can get drinks down to 0.0% alcohol but legal definitions are usually around 1.5% to 0.5% depending on where you are so its a bit sketchy to think of it as totally alcohol free. Its actually considered a problem for recovering alcoholics to have non alcoholic drinks because that little bit it can have can be psychoactive and a damaged liver can really struggle with it.
@somehow_not_helpfulATcrap Жыл бұрын
@@bostonrailfan2427 Its usually a hair over 1.2% in most places around the world before its considered alcohol. Tax reasons mostly, the other is taste. The reason non alcoholic beer tastes a lot like beer is that little bit of alcohol.
