If you're going to watch one snooker technique video, this is the one. The three key basics people overlook covered here. Any questions, feel free to ask and I'll do my best to answer them for you.

Hello Magician. I usually keep track of your videos as they enlighten me through complete controle over the basics, rules and technics of the game. On behalf of everybody watching the videos, we appreciate and thank you for the hard work. Snooker is one of my favorite hobbies for after work leisure activities, and no manner how many hours I spend playing, I still can't get the cue to be straight through mu chin, and it hurts my back when doing that, which also causes me to miscue. Please guide me through how I can get a hold of that. much thankful for you man. Godd bless and goos luck!

Just wanted to say your videos are great and I know you haven't uploaded in a year but you should come back please. Still people out here that could do with your advice. Thank you for taking the time out in the first place as a pro.

Thanks Shaun, these are all great tips. I'd love for you to come back and do some more youtube, though i know you must be busy with other stuff at this stage of your career. I like you a lot, though i know some have a problem with you (for some reason), i think most of these people, including my father, havent seen what you're truly doing andcapable of these days, and I really love your perspective on being professional and somebody to look up to, as i saw in your video with Stephen over on cue tips. Best of luck to you for future tournaments, please know you've got myself and my mates (-21ish) into the game. We love you, give every tourney a good crack mate xx

Thank you for making these videos, Shaun. Just wondering if you change your grip depending on the type of shot you're going to take. I've always been told keep a light grip on the cue, even if I intent to hit the cue ball hard. Thanks.

Hi Shaun, nie to see you're videos. They are really good and to the point. I myself as an advanced amateur player, I doubted many years about when playing with side, and when not. I would love to hear an explanation from you concerning that :). Iv'e talked with Tom Ford for example and he told me he almost uses a little side on every shots. Other ex-professionals like Bjron Haneveer I know says he rarely plays with side only when it's necessary. Some pots seemed easier for me playing with running side. Now after playing over 20 years I've started to change a lot of shots playing center cueball, where i was playing before with running side and as far as i know most shots seem a lot easier. Thank you very much if you would reply on this message. Daan

Fantastic video Shaun. Apart from a terrific player, you really are the best articulate player in explaining things. One question: any advice for really tall fellows? I’m 6 ft 3 and even though I do keep my right leg straight (because it’s the same stance I used when I wasn’t that tall), I struggle a lot with feeling comfortable when playing most shots (when I can bridge on the wood it gets better, but bridging on the cloth is so low for me). I can barely stroke my chin and no way to stroke mu chest with the cue. Any advice? Cheers!
