Sounds like a very useful tool for those in a time crunch or unable to measure just-in-time -- well done! I am wondering how significant the variances are among the popular speakers of the same make/model. Charcteristics may vary due to production and assembly logistics, age of equipment, wear and tear, etc. and this may be a weak link in cookbook based approaches.

Hi Mesut! Thanks for your interest in SubAligner. I'm not sure what loudspeaker manufacturing tolerances are today, but one interesting thing that the Tracebook project has proven is that two different people in two different parts of the world can measure the same model speaker and get matching results within a few dB. I do not believe that these minor variations in manufacturing are the ones we need to worry about. The biggest variations come from things like people's custom presets, mistakes in preset deployment, and drivers that have been repaired. If I were deploying two matching models from two different suppliers, I wouldn't worry about it at all, but if I had time I would verify them.
