I found out about her from Jeff Beck’s Ronnie Scott London performance (with a bunch of other legendary guest performers and a certain Robert Plant in the audience) and she confidently lives up to the insurmountable task of keeping up with those monsters on that stage at such a young age and them some. I would recommend anyone to watch/listen who is interested in finding out how high levels in music can get to.

One of my favorite bass players. If you haven't heard Kinga Głyk or Alejandra Villarreal of The Warning, look them up. Kinga is Polish and a jazz bassist with her own band. She went viral with a cover of Eric Clapton's *Tears in Heaven.* Ale started at age 7 on the bass after two years on piano. Now 19, she and her sisters have been touring the world, showing off the best hard rock to ever come out of Mexico. 57 English songs, three Spanish songs, and lots of ass-kicking music. Album four, *Keep Me Fed,* has torn up the charts. They're currently touring the world. Check them out!

The bass solo on Cause we’ve ended as lovers from Liveat Ronnie Scott’s is ridiculously good. Gets me every time
@Hansprivate

What got me when I first saw her was during the 25th anniversary of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. I want to say she was 19 years old at the time and she was playing with Jeff Beck and they had Buddy Guy on stage as well. What got me was, at 19 years old, she was holding her own as she was playing with these two legends. Does her impressive resume’ surprise me? NO! She had the chops back then and clearly she has only grown since.

Was always fascinated with all of the people Jeff Beck put into his bands! They never were the same afterwards, developed and did well. This Behsist is no exception. She was on her way already, Beck just discovered or gave the big break. Has so much fun onstage!

@floydjr11

@@gianthills Yes. I know Jaco. But I didn’t know of him when he was 20. That would have been 1971. I was six. And hadn’t heard of him yet. You probably didn’t either. I remember Weather Report. My father and older brother were fans. But I hardly knew who played bass for them. There was no KZbin. Plus that isn’t the point. Nor does it take away what I saw in HER. SHE IS GOOD no matter who else is good. Plus, being a diminuitive young lady makes playing a heavy instrument (and long) like a bass more challenging. So I dismiss your comment.
