If Harvey Dent is introduced in a future project, I would like if they made him and Bruce to be old college friends or roommates. This would make his later transformation into Two-face more shocking to Bruce. It would also make sense since they said Bruce changed colleges a lot in the prequel book. Great discussion points. A couple of ideas based on yours: 1.) Battle damaged Batman cowl that no longer reveals his identity. He then has to fight using his drifter face mask with the rest of the batsuit. 2.) to contrast the public’s view of him; have a similar fight/rescue to the first movie, but have the victim thanking him instead of being afraid of him. Batman would be all quiet and awkward cause he’s not used to being seen as a ‘hero’

So when it comes to villains I want to see in the Matt Reeves versions of The Batman, as much as I love Scarecrow, we just got a fairly "Non-Scarecrow" story with Titans. Batman has so many rogues with such tragic backgrounds that I think there are better options for never before seen live or serious live incarnations. Some examples would be Mr Freeze, Poison Ivy, even Clayface or Scarface could be done in a way that was super dark and tragic. Mr Freeze is my top choice. The tragedy of him and his wife, etc would probably be so amazing in live action. Those are my thoughts! :)

Hey Boba, I’ve got a killer combination for who the next antagonists for the next Batman movie should be. I really want Matt reeves to introduce black mask into this grounded world he has created since he is severely under appreciated and could turn the character into a fan favourite. I would also love to see scarecrow to be served justice on the big screen as I wasn’t a big fan of the Batman begins version we got. Aesthetically they should go for more of a Arkham asylum look, or something more menacing. If scarecrow is to be in the next film I think it should be titled The Batman City Of Fear.

I have the impression that Arkham will be very important in the trilogy, maybe in the last movie the rogues take over the asylum and Batman has to fight em like in Arkham Asylum game? I love Mr Freeze so I'd love to see him too be the next villain, Clayface 1 and 7 (I think it's 7, the serial killer that was introduced in the Catwoman comics that initially wasn't actually made of Clay at first) could be cool. Scarecrow could be awesome too he's always good, or Dollmaker, they could probably make Dollmaker like the dude in that first episode of American Horror Stories Season 2. Also I'm just listing off Villains at this point I suppose but quickly 2 more I'd love to see are Mad Hatter hypnotism is somewhat grounded and Jane Doe, it could be fun when you aren't sure who she is because you wouldn't know who she's killed until she's already moved onto her next Identity while Batman has to use his Detective Skills to figure out her plan, and whose she's going to kill and take the Identity of next but maybe that's too similar to #SinsOfTheFather

I hope the mask gets a different eye structure. For me the circular look is kind of weird. I’d like to see a more slanted look, but not too slanted. Kinda of like how bales cowl in the second and third films, but not too much like so. Plus since he’s standing for more of a hopeful kinda hero, he needs to put some more fearful looks into his suit so criminals are still shizin their pants when they see him.

I really wanna see characters like joker and 2face play side characters. Not like they aren't important but so they can be saved and used in other ways other then what we are used to. Giving room for others to shine while they can still be apart of the plot. Always love these videos.👌👌👌 I think characters like Mr. Freeze, hush, and court of owls. HI boba, I feel like a trilogy isn't enough time for this series, this is the best version of batman I've seen on screen and there is so many characters, Villains and storylines I'd want to see but with only 3 movies I don't think its enough. The dark knight trilogy did the 3 main parts of his career, and tho they were amazing movies I feel like more could have been done. I think 4 to 5 movies could be done really well. They could do like a part 1 and 2 movie as a great way to end the series. I wouldn't want it to turn in to the MCU or anything but I feel like this wold work really well for these films

Hey Boba! I’d like to hear you entertain this if possible. With the latest discussion series you mentioned the time jump between movies and how the movies will always feature a crucial point in his career; is it crazy to think that in the next movie since he is “Hope” instead of “Vengeance”, that he should face not being “invincible”? In the first movie we saw him walking into bullets and neglecting his personal life. The next villain could really strip him down and reach him in some way that makes him realize that he won’t survive at his current pace. This would feel like a natural way to introduce Robin or Batgirl to assist in the crusade. Also quick note- I’m still convinced that the young “initiate” thug in the beginning of the first movie could come back in the second in a similar way but with dialog with Batman about how he wants to change, and eventually become Robin. Barry Keoghan has been great in stuff like Killing Of A sacred Deer and Calm With Horses and 71 but I didn't love this interpretation of the year 2 joker I thought the backstory Matt and Barry created and the homage to silence of the lambs was really cool but I wasn't a huge fan of this early joker WB need to put Joker on ice for a little while

A little off topic but a couple things have bothered me about the batman's suit. I feel like they had the wrong application for the contact lenses which delved into less realistic territory when they didn't need to. I feel that batman should have had contacts, but merely white out contacts to hide his identity. In addition there should have been a lense hidden in the center of the bat symbol for a body cam (like police wear). This would have required alterations to the Catwoman spy scene. But most of what she did there didn't require a camera. This would have kept the film much more grounded as contact lenses like that are only in their infancy. It also would have given him a more accurate and comic book look, that serves a very reasonable functional purpose. With how much of his jaw is exposed his face is too easy to identify. White out contacts would be a no brainer. Anyways. 🤘

Three thoughts: 1) I think you could swing the Court of Owls int he second film if you lead in with finding out Riddler was fed the reporter information from someone else (since I think you're right and they changed their initial story there), maybe during his psychologist sessions in Arkham. That person may or may not be a pawn of the Court. Could still be an easy in, especially if we find out that they were hoping he'd unmask the Batman or something otherwise devious. 2) In reference to venom, I do think there could be an interesting avenue. If, leaning into fan theories (although debunked), Batman's adrenaline does actually turn into the venom drug. Say, maybe he drops or misplaces a vile during a fight and someone takes the military-grade concoction and messes with it enough to create the strength-inducing venom. I think it could be an interesting arc where Batman realizes he is actually a cause of the problem/villain creation. Possibly a real stretch (LOL) but also possibly more suited for the Arkham series. 3) I really do hope they reconsider the shelved Gotham PD show if the other two are successful. We know shows about police corruption can succeed (see HBO's own "We Own This City").

Hey boba! I just realized that if harvey were to be in the batman sequel, a running theme is that he is running for mayor, but for that to happen, there would have to be a four year time jump. I don't think that it's necessary to have a four year time jump, but it would be interesting to see batman all mature and with his whole rouges gallery. I had a dream that in The Batman 2, Bruce operates his batcave from the top of skyscraper and he would fly and ascend into the night every night - simply because the floods fucked Gotham up and so now he must go to high ground. Which makes sense honestly, a lot of bats commonly live in caves in high mountains. Also, bane was a presence and so was the riddler, in a new outfit though.

Wanted to add some more that I thought of. They could make the second one have Joker influence throughout (ending with breakout), and then he is a bigger threat if they do have time jumps. Bruce and Jason could be hunting him down, when Jason goes rogue and “dies” (there are so many iterations of his death it could be anything) and at the end Batman retires. They then could do a HBOmax show called “Jason” that is his rise as Red Hood, with him watching Bruce not do anything against Gotham crime, and it could have a season one finale of Bruce having to don the bat suit again to fight the mysterious Red Hood. Maybe see a redemption arc across the show with more Batman rogue / batfamily-esque things. Idk I’m just a sucker for Jason Peter Todd as Robin and Red Hood

I think this version of Gotham and Batman. Would be perfect for Hugo Strange as the villain. Especially since we already know Joker and the riddler are in Arkham.

Are you open-minded with a gender bent version of a Batman rogue in future film sequels?* *Examples: Spellbinder, Firefly, Clayface etc* *3. Instead of Robin and Batgirl, do you believe that maybe Matt Reeves will introduce heroic allies of Bruce Wayne/Batman Richard Grayson and Barbara Gordon paving their destinies and heroic personas as Nightwing and Oracle respectively in future film sequels? #sinsofmyfather If they do hush (which I think would work very well since this is the perfect opportunity) they should incorporate the aspect where Thomas Elliot and Bruce Wayne were childhood friends. It would add another layer to hush wanting to get revenge on the waynes. Maybe even flashbacks of them being childhood friends and then Edward Elliot could find out about Thomas Wayne through that friendship between their kids. I also think it would be cool if like how the first movie was inspired by films like zodiac and seven, they could take inspiration from slasher/horror movies and have hush be like a terrifying slasher. Maybe they show more of him killing people and taking their flesh and skin for his fake bruce wayne face. Hush is a character that has a very interesting concept but is never executed well or is just wasted like in Arkham Knight. I think after the setup in the first batman movie, they could use this opportunity to finally make Hush a great batman villain.

I think introducing Stagg Enterprises could be a good method for world building. It could show that it’s not only the mob or street criminals, but even the large businesses/corporations and the system itself are intertwined with the dirty money in Gotham

I'm hoping they introduce a young Robin by the end of the trilogy then time jump to him being Nightwing and build on his character and the rest of the Bat Family in Reeves universe in those solo films . I'd really like to see the Owls at the end of the trilogy and have someone like Ana De Armas appear as Talia AL Gul at the end of the trilogy to tease at the start of a new organization that threatens Gotham setting up speculation for another trilogy . We could see her later with the resurrection of Jason Todd in future installments and also Damian Wayne by the end of all that. They'd have a solid timeline with that and wouldnt need Pattinson in the future if they use a young Grayson in the 3rd . It'd be similar to Titans but more directed towards the Bat Family and it would be no less than 6 years from now so Titans stories would be in the rear. Could even leave speciation to Pattinson being the origin of Ben's Batman . I always wanted Ben's to carry on with the Talia AL Gul and Damian Wayne storyline but they ruined it story already #sinsofthefather

maybe they should bring batman damned comic into reality, maybe at phase 3 or 4. this is the story, he is really like broken, emotinally and physically. also this is truly put john constantine in dc cinematic universe in epic way.
