I'm intrigued by the Joker's character design. It sort of falls into the realm of what Burton's Joker SHOULD have looked like based on the crude surgical equipment in the '89 Batman. It also harkens back to the toxic waste thug from the original RoboCop. The body horror/disfigurement is taken further than Ledger's "Glasgow Smile", and paired with a Hannibal Lector level of psychological profiling. It's far more compelling than the Leto version.

Seems to me like he's just starting to become the Joker one year in Arkham after running into Batman when he was still the Red Hood. That would make sense that he's acting more mild than every other Joker version and Batman still doesn't have a lot of anger toward him but rather creeped out and probably even feel a little bit sorry that he fell into the acid. It would be really interesting to see not only this young Batman who's still learning but also the Joker who's still forming his new identity and hasn't got a chance to do anything yet as the Joker.

There's a lot to unpack with this scene as a whole, but one thing that stands out to me the most is the fact that Batman pretty much goes to the Joker for help in figuring out who the Riddler is. Why?? It's really well done and frightening

@@Mordrin666 should have been Calendar Man 📅 that’s why. Give The Joker a break for awhile.

Rob played Bruce as a compressed character except the instances of violence that are bruce's only emotional outlet. Pitting this Joker -who reads Bruce like a book (and blurts it out on his face), against him is going to be so interesting. Health played the joker as someone who had established wisdom about Bale's Batman ("incorruptible", "you are not them"), but this duo feels way more dynamic.

Don't let the Joker escape arkham in this whole trilogy. Create a "silence of the lambs" storyline with him and use OTHER VILLAINS please.

Definitely inspired by Lee Bermejo visually. Nice homage to Silence of the Lambs. My only issue is Keoghan was a bit of a mush-mouth; maybe it was the audio, but he could have enunciated a little more.

"ahead of the curve" Joker says that to describe himself in the interrogation scene in Dark Knight.

Scariest Joker look in my opinion, almost hard to look at.

That joker looks very interesting. Very credible.

Holy crap, this is the best joker I’ve ever since the Dark Knight.

Continuing that 90s theme of psychotic serial killer. This scene reminded me so much of Claurice trying to seek information from Hannibal about Buffalo Bill. And just that immediate connection they had towards them. The interrogation within the interrogation.

This Joker needs the full Thanos treatment: make like two or three more movies based in this version of DCEU then make Joker the main villain in the last movie in the series

Barry Keoghan who had that small role in Dunkirk, featured in Marvel eternals to this. Outstanding acting for a deleted scene. They should’ve included this.
