I always think playing unintelligent characters realistically and sympathetically is one of the hardest things to do well. Ashley Jensen in 'Extras' is another fine example of someone who did it really well.

Im glad they kept the joker as a deleted scene. That way if they decide to bring him back they have the option to change his design. His look is absolutely terrifying and quite fitting for the dark aesthetic of the film. But i gotta say it would he tough to look at for a whole movie though 😅

what about his look is childish? his face is completely disfigured. he genuinely looks like someone who fell in acid with the way his face, mouth, hair and nails look. I think a more childish look is the look we regularly see with his face painted white and an exaggerated smile.

No Green Knight on here is a travesty. It's one of his best performances. I remember being in the theater and thinking he'd make a great Joker long before the announcement.
