I've see The Batman three times by now and dam I could really see it again. No theatrical release of a movie ever made me want to see it more than once. The Batman is doing something right that no Marvel movie has done. All that I can say is that this film is great and it's what I always wanted from a Batman film. Great job to Matt Reeves and crew!

I think what I loved most about Paul Dano’s performance as Riddler is that he’s this imposing presence throughout the film until he is unmasked at the end and his look is…I don’t know how else to describe it other than doughy. He looks soft compared to the brooding, harder nature of Bruce/Batman. The way he looks didn’t match up with the brutality that he caused throughout the film, and I really liked that. He was a complex character with a fractured psyche that you didn’t notice just how many cracks there were until you get up close.

I think having a monster-verse inside the Batman verse would be so cool. Definitely bring out the horror aspect and make them practical coated with CGI. Solomon Grundy, killer croc, man bat, clay face, such a brilliant idea.

Great video, I loved the movie. Still prefer Begins and dark knight, but the more I think about this movie, the more I think I may grow to love it the most. I find this Batman, while he is just standing around, observing everything and his body language, is amazing.

I watched The Batman 8 times in theaters. I assumed at 3 hours and it being a mystery that after the first viewing i would be good but it is easily my favorite movie of the last 20 years. I have always been a huge fan of film noir and, like Cody, i feel like this is finally the Batman movie that is made for me. I actually love smaller frame more agile/ninja Batman rather than huge, brutish Affleck style (though i liked Affleck in the role, even if the movies sucked). Hands down the best cinematography in cinema history. Fantastic performances, music and sound design that perfectly enhances the viewing experience, and while the villains were great, this is really the first Batman movie, as in, it's all actually about Batman. Side note: funny that Bryan brought up Ben Shapiro's review being totally off the mark as i completely agree. I actually love Shapiro generally and his political commentary but, man, his film reviews are awful, he just has horrible taste.

What I love about the idea of Riddler knowing Bruce is Batman, and the audience thinking that. Is that you really get to be in Batman’s shoes thinking that he knows who he is and even that scene that goes back to Gordon and Batman, Batman tells Gordon I think this is the end of the Batman, because he thinks he knows who he is. So I really like that. First time we got to feel like Batman.

Loved it , just watched it !!! Loved the eye makeup, loved how he could just look and convey what he was thinking. Didnt think i would like catgirl, but wow loved the back story etc. Great Movie 8.5 out of 10 for me . Ps when that gun guy near the end says I am vengence , it was the riddler saying that as they were brainwashed by him

Great review and discussion on The Batman! I loved this movie I saw it 5 times because it’s such a great movie! Enjoyed the detective work with Gordon and Batman! Just the whole cast was so great! Robert Pattinson was phenomenal! I can’t wait for the next movie! If you haven’t seen the movie 🎥 go see it!

I had to chime in on the scene where Batman’s walking through the tunnel now when you’re in a gun fight maybe this other guy doesn’t have a gun coming at you but how easy is it gonna be to aim in the head when you’re only 5 to10 feet away from this person that’s getting ready to attack you, plus it was pitch dark to everybody else!

To me the only scene that’s like “why did you let yourself get shot so easily” is the very first fight scene where he gets shot, he truly was asking for that one. Lol but it also seemed like he did it to scare the shit out of the thugs. I’d be terrified if I just shot someone and they were still coming at me like the terminator.

It wasn't about "needing" Batman. It was about believing he and Batman are the same. That they are in it together. A team! If he just kills all the people involved without making a show of it then no one learns just what his message is. He doesn't get to make a statement. And he cannot just come out with it all because he's driven by a psychotic drive to leave clues. I feel like some people really don't understand this character. You can't look at his plan through the eyes of someone "normal", because that's the last thing he is. His methodology is driven by his compulsion. His compulsion is driven by his psychosis.

The batman takes place during year 2 and dick grayson is introd inuced in the year 3 comic as Robin but is flashbacks in current time he was nightwing. If the gang member that ran away in the beginning of the movie that batman beat up all the other ones and the one that didn't attack him and people know he is tim drake in the titans tv show is attending to be tim drake he is Robin number 3 so I'm sure we will get a Robin soon. .

This is my second favourite Batman, but the dark knight will forever be my favourite movie of all time. This movie is way too long for me to watch a dozen times when it drops on Blu ray, and because of that it will never replace dark knight because this is a better BATMAN true to comic book film but the length is too long and 3rd act was weak

I do have a 3 “negatives” with this movie…. I don’t think the movie has the three personas of Bruce Wayne, when he’s Bruce he’s bruiting, when he’s Batman he’s bruiting. I get it, it’s a young Bruce & the movie is 98% a Batman movie, but still bothered me! I didn’t think the Joker scene was needed. My last & least negative is the cowl & popped collar, nah, get something else for the sequels please! I loved the rest of the suit though! Besides that, I loved this movie! It was EXACTLY what I wanted it to be!

I loved this movie and gave it a 9/10. I agree that Catwoman using that term fit her character. However, the take in this video on Ben Shapiros stance on the film was very disingenuous. I feel like no one in this video actually watched Ben’s video. Just saw that he didn’t like it. Upon watching his video you’d know that his argument against the film had much more substance than just “the one line of dialogue.” As a matter of fact that wasn’t even his main critique of the film. Big fan of all 3 of you but your arguments against him were very lazy. And this is coming from someone who doesn’t even agree with his criticisms. But at least address the points he actually made

Sean complains about spoilers when he spoils all kinds of parts of movies in reviews for other movies. Not everyone has seen every older movie ever made. Age of a film does not give someone permission to spoil it. Spoilers happen all the time though and only common decency is there to try and prevent someone from doing spoilers.
