Great reviews! Came across your channel scrolling through some reviews of McFarlane Batman figures. Great concept of 5POA. At first I thought the McFarlane figures had only five points of articulation so had to watch. Been watching ever since.

The way they get it to look like glow in the dark is using a black light to illuminate the neon green color in photos. He's an awesome figure !!!

I had him under a black light and didn't get anything, that's why I switched to the 200 watt daylight bulb to try to charge him up. I may try again though with direct sunlight.

@@5POAFigureReviews huh, yeah that's weird cuz usually that color of neon works best to give it a day glow effect under a fluorescent black light. Those black lights that are just bulbs aren't real black light they just give a purple light it must be a fluorescent UV bulb, the tube kind. I really doubt they painted it with glow in the dark paint it would be instantly see able. Neon colors will light up with fluorescents so I'm surprised.

@@5POAFigureReviews I had to see and dug out my old raver light from back in the day and couldn't believe the bulb turned on after buzzing for a bit. You're right it will not glow. It looks a little lighter but nothing close to glowing. Funny was I tried Martian Manhunter 52 and his joints and the red all around the tunic and chest glow great under those fluorescents. I saw brought up too on a early leak post once about if it was glow in the dark.

Some of these head swaps got my attention, especially the one with the future state Batman and your idea of painting the Joker mouth in it! Future State is starting to see a wider release, so never say never. It was first to Walmart but not it's available at GameStop, Books a Millions, etc.

Do McFarlanes have a similar side to side pivot to marvel legends? None of my DC Multiverse ankles seem to go as far as you seem to get them I don’t know if I’m missing something or what 😂

It's not like Marvel, no. To get they to hinge side to side, you need to twist the foot in such a way that the seam on the ball is side to side, not up and down. You can do the same with the wrist to make the hands hinge side to side instead of up and down as well. Not as nice looking or intuitive as Marvel Legends, but still good range when it works

It is pretty glossy, but it doesn't look bad in person. Very leathery. I imagine you could hit it with a matte spray (I'd just avoid the neon parts and the cape, because I don't know how it would affect those).
