@@q267scott 1 year later still Yup, that's why quite often Trott would sit back and let the others do things, such as investigate the windmill. When they were hesitant or quiet he'd step in, when they were active he'd step back. He did a great job of supporting Mark in getting the new players into it.

2:15:00 that moment when you remember you had a lucky coin.... edit: Also Elora uses her action and gives jiutou a potion, bonus action transforms into higher AC creature. Jiutou's turn is next: Ki point to disengage followed by full sprint out of there. Elora takes two hits: if they both hit her then the worst case scenario is that she loses her animal form and some damage carries over to her normal HP. Her action: disengage, and then use the rest of her turn to get out. Neither suit of armor follows them, no dead PC's.

If you are interested, there is roll20(dot)net that you can check out. It's basically a website that hosts online RPG board games and I know for a fact that there's a lot of players over there. The "don't split the party" "rule" is metagame-y nonsense. It was silly to instigate an encounter, yes, but they've been splitting the party since they got to tallfield, and they've accomplished more because of it.

I'm obviously a year late on this, but: At 2:05:33, Mark Hulmes says that the journey took them 5-ish days to get from Tallfield to the Feywild. So why was Elora still out of beast shapes, HP, etc? They didn't take any long rests that whole week of travel?
