+Vrikrar jiutou has become quite frightening. It would seem that Cam Is an agent of Set based solely on the mayhem he makes. Trell reminds me of most of Anubis. These mortals fascinate me.

I think they've become a bit too focused on trying to be clever in combats. kim burned about 5 turns in combat trying to restrain the dog as opposed to attacking it 10 times.

Dream146 I don't think that's a bad thing though, You want your players to always look for an alternate solution then "hit it until it's out of hp". I'm sure as they continue, combat will come a lot more naturally for them too.

It depends on the situation at hand the party was pretty badly split and really it was some good rolls and a strangely fragile ogre was all that saved elora and cam. While the main fighter and the dps were off waving steaks at a demon dog.

One of my favorites is Trell, because he is semi-quiet, leaving plenty of 'vocal room' for the other three players to RP. When he does chime in or inquire into an investigation of sorts it's fairly calculated and well-placed.

Honestly, I think the thing I love the most about these streams is just how unapologetically *nerdy* they all are, especially Mark. You see this thing with geek and fan culture where as soon as you hit like 26, you need to stop all the fantasy nonsense, get a job, and (especially as a woman) get married and become a parent, or else your life is a failure. That image has made me really quite nervous about how I'm spending my time, and I feel as if the time I can designate towards doing my favorite things is slowly running out. But seeing Mark, Trott, and Kim get so into this DnD campaign and talk about LARPing and all that good stuff gives me so much more hope for my future. Thank all of you guys for showing me it can be done.

Because I really want to "bash" on people saying they absolutely can't stand Kim: 1) she (Jiutou) is clearly trying to fix her way of thinking, because she corrects herself and says "elora" 2) this racism probably stems from decades of not caring about anything besides teiflings and dragonborn 3) she (Kim) is roleplaying a character. While there, unfortunately, are people with Jiutou's mindset in the world, Kim is definitely not one of them.

I know it's been 2 years and shit like that, and I don't know the full context of what triggered your comment. But the person lashing out wasn't Jiutou, it was Kim lashing out to the other dude. That whole thing felt uncomfortable, especially since they wasted 2(if I remember correctly) trying to execute this plan of hers which wasn't going anywhere. That being said, those kinds of banter happens on any game that has more than one person + Kim was sick + This happened in 2016- jesus christ it's already 2020.

I just love how Cam's character develops so much and unveils this kind of mystery about him (is he really the cheery bumbling fool he seem to be, or is it just an act he puts on to hide his past). Yeah Going on an 8 mile walk at midnight with a bunch of yelling scouts (Two of which I have massive crushes on. Jo and Ryan for ever) and falling asleep at 6 in the morning to wake at 7:30 in fear of being "gently awoken" by our six foot scout leader. Then on valentines day with pangs for Joanna/Ryan and being alone forever, I listened to my baby cousin running about screaming all day. Oh yeah and I was ill. Great walk, not great afterwards. As I see it, Valentine's day is a normal day. I guess if my love mate (dunno how to say it properly in English, sorry) really likes Valentine's Day I would do something for her. Grab all the courage you can get and say it. You'll be surprised of how many times that worked out fine to me (and I am a ugly fat hairy man hahaha) My Valentine this years was trying to play Pathfinder as a DM and finding out that everyone was going to do other things in a hour and a half, so we just made two character sheets and then played some board games. I must admit I was pissed, obody told me we were to be together only an hour and I prepared a whole new dungeon and goods moments for the cleric of the group...

Gosh I am such a rules lawyer. As always guys, especially Mark, feel free to ignore me. I only say rules to engender learning and discussion, not to ruin the game. There is no "Delay" action in 5e. Its not mentioned in the PHB or the DMG. *pushes glasses up nose* In the Rules Answers August 2015 Wizards explicitly stated that they removed the Delay action to keep the combat fast and "make Initiative matter." Cam could "Ready an Action" or a "Reaction" for what to do when the "Big Guy" gets close, but he must be explicit on what the trigger and action will be during HIS TURN. That all said. Its just a game. Its Mark's game. Its the Player's game. They can play however they wish. Keep up the amazing show, guys!

+TheDieThrower He's a warlock not a wizard. Wizards roll 1d6 hp warlocks roll 1d8. Warlocks can wear light armor wizards cannot wear armor without feats.

+Samantha Langley This is true...however I'm pretty sure he's still the least tanky of the group. Seeing as one member is a monk (I actually know very little about monks except that they have a dodge...), another can become a dire wolf and the last one is a cleric (Sort of warrior lite with heals). Unless of course some things have changed over time. Because I seriously am behind the times with D&D (I'm still playing with a mix of first and second edition AD&D). Actually that's why I had no idea warlock was an actual class and not just a new wizard subclass or something.

+TheDieThrower Monks should be about as tanky as warlocks. Monks can use the dodge action (which everyone has access to) as a bonus action if they spend a ki point, and if they are hit by a ranged attack, monks can reduce the damage with deflect missiles. But, warlocks can get mage armor as a permanent passive and can wear armor.
