Chat GPT's language model is based on data from 2021 so its data is a little outdated. And GPT 4 is the latest but it's only available for a subscription plan. And also Bing's AI uses GPT 4. Whereas bard has somewhat up to date datasets. So bard is capable of answering more recent questions.
