Now, I have a question, the second 3.5 years of the trib, the Armageddon, the 7 years of burning the stuff afterwards, is more than the 3.5 years left. Indeed, appears to go past the return of our Lord. I would love a macro view of scripture with calendar, and the micro view is infinite it seems. Skip is the real deal. Yes the sermon is wonderful, intelligent and enthralling, but the altar call is the point of Truth. Ezekiel 38-39 describes the Gog battle or battles depending on your perspective. It is very easy to determine the timing of the Gog/Magog war. If we look at the end of Eze 39 we see a set of conditions that can only be true at a particular time in history. Eze 39:21 And I will set my glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them. Eze 39:22 So the house of Israel shall know that I am the LORD their God from that day and forward. Eze 39:23 And the heathen shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity: because they trespassed against me, therefore hid I my face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies: so fell they all by the sword. Eze 39:24 According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions have I done unto them, and hid my face from them. Eze 39:25 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name; Eze 39:26 After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them afraid. Eze 39:27 When I have brought them again from the people, and gathered them out of their enemies' lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations; Eze 39:28 Then shall they know that I am the LORD their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them any more there. Eze 39:29 Neither will I hide my face any more from them: for I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD. The conditions described at the end of Eze 39 can only occur at the end of the age. Israel knows God from that day forward, the gentiles will see the judgment God has dished out, God will pour His spirit out upon the house of Israel and no longer hide His face from Israel. God rescues Israel at the battle of Armageddon. So that makes the end of the Gog battle (Eze 39) line up with the timing of Armageddon. That makes Gog the AntiChrist which we see hinted at in Eze 38. Eze 38:17 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Art thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring thee against them? God says the prophets of Israel wrote about Gog in their writings. This defines Gog as the AC since Armageddon is where God defeats the AC and company which is also the Gog war. When we search the OT for a battle in Israel that God defeats the enemies arrayed against Israel with Israel returning to the Lord for ever after. We find such descriptions in the Day of the Lord scriptures from the OT. The DOTL scriptures end with God defeating the armies invading Israel and Israel returning to the Lord for ever after just as we see in Eze 39. Peace, PTT

Many Scholars who believe that Revelation was written about AD 65 and not the traditional date of 95 believe the battle of Armageddon was totally fulfilled in the first Century. The Jewish Apocalypse started in AD 66 and culminated in the destruction of Jerusalem and it's Temple AD 70. Makes sense.!!

God said there will be a flood and it happened as science shows fish fossils on the tallest of mountains. How did they get there if not a flood. God likes the impossible, if it's to easy then God is not involved. When the impossible happens God shows up. If he God says this is what to be. Because they will be lead blindly. Then it will happen, and woe to the people that show up. As his wrath will be laid upon them as the scriptures say. .... Pontius Pilate plaque was found in 1961. The City of David is under Israel and can be seen to this day on a tour down there. There is plenty of proof that Jesus and the Bible is real. Seek and you shall find is so true. How could anyone believe there will be LITERAL blood 5 feet deep and 200 miles long? Also, the SEALS, and Trumpets start at the CROSS, and end when the Lord returns. The Bowls or Vials come on the LAST DAY. Rev15:1 In them is filled up the WRATH of God. Rev6:17 DAY. Rm2:5 DAY. Zeph 1:15,18 DAY. This is why Paul said we are not appointed to WRATH. 1Thes5:9. This is also why Jesus said he would raise believers on the LAST DAY. Jn6:39-40,44,54. Who should we believe Gods WORD or man???

@40:16 - But.... "comes as a thief in the night" - has been used as a "proof text" for the eminent return/rapture. It cannnot apply to the trib saints since they won't be at all surprised at the coming of Jesus. They will know the precise day of His return due to scripture providing them with the timetable. Or - are you saying that "comes as a thief in the night" can be applied to both groups? Applied to Believers regarding eminant rapture while also being applicable to the world at the time of the end? ???? This is now confusing.

The gospel of salvation isn't "giving your life to Christ". It's believing that Jesus died for your sins was buried and rose from the dead. His blood washes all your sins away. When you believe that you receive eternal life. After that comes serving God. I wish pastors would understand the gospel and deliver it clearly. Giving your life to Christ is work and we're not saved by works. We're saved by faith alone in what Jesus did.

@erickanter4090 yea it can be difficult. I think it's more difficult to work for salvation though. You can rest in God. Plus people need the true gospel to be saved. Works such as turning from sin is not grace and exhausting. Knowing all your sins are forgiven is relieving then you can serve God with joy.

2 Peter 3: 10 " But the day of the Lord will come like a THIEF IN THE NIGHT and then the heavens will PASS AWAY with a loud noise, and the elements will be dissolved with fire, and the earth and the works that are upon it will be burned up." v11 "Since all these things are thus to be dissolved, what sort of persons ought you be.......the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be kindled and dissolved, and the elements will melt with fire..." This is the second coming of Christ. Did you know his kingdom is already here. Look at what Jesus says in Mark 9:1 " Truly I say to you, there are some standing here WHO WILL NOT TASTE DEATH BEFORE THEY SEE THAT THE KINGDOM OF GOD HAS COME WITH POWER". So, either it came or there are some very old people walking around or Jesus lied. Notice Jesus said it would come with POWER, when did that happened? Read Acts 1:8 " you shall receive POWER when the HS...." and this happens in Acts 2, the kingdom or church started in Acts 2 and if you remember in Matt 16:18 he told Peter he would give him the keys to the kingdom and goes on to say "upon this rock I will build my church. Church and kingdom were used interchangeable. Now listen how the kingdom is talked about after Acts 2, Col 1:13 " God has delivered us from the dominion of Darkness and transferred us to THE KINDOM OF HIS BELOVED SON". ... Heb 12:28 " let us be grateful for RECEIVING A KINGDOM THAT CANNOT BE SHAKEN" . Rev 1:5 "made us a kingdom.." v9 " who share with you in Jesus ....and the kingdom". Lastly, how does it not bother you that NO ONE WAS EVER SAVED LIKE HE SAYS? NO ONE EVER SAID THE SINNERS PRAYER TO BE SAVED, NO ONE. If so, why doesn't he give you an example of it. Read Acts 2 :37-47 and see what they did.

To answer your question. God does what he wants. He made the Earth and people in his image. He owns it all. He is a spirit. He tells you he does as he pleases. The nice thing is he wants good and mercy and truth. He fights evil and destroy it. He is just. God exist. A personal relationship is what you are looking for with him. That is attained by him either knocking at your door or you stepping to the door and through the door. The lifeboat to move onto the next level of spirituality from existing as a mortal is to merge with spirit. To do this need JESUS CHRIST. He is God come to Earth as word in human body of JESUS CHRIST. The first of mergings. Jesus was perfect human as he was seeded by God. He does not have the human sin heart but the God perfect good heart.

The battle of Armageddon is not in Revelation chapter 16 the battle of Armageddon is in chapter 19. The gathering together for the battle of Armageddon is here in chapter 16, but the actual battle of Armageddon happens in chapter 19 as Jesus comes to earth to begin his millennial reign.
