This scene is a masterpiece. Revenge of the Sith is one of my top Star Wars movies (probably tied with ESB for my very favorite) and this is the best opening of any Star Wars movie. Maybe even better than Episode IV's (although the impact of that scene in the time it came out can't really be understated either). But the music for sure - this is one of my all time favorite John Williams tracks, and the militaristic Force theme is so much fun. Listening to this, I can see Anakin and Obi-Wan's starfighters spinning in sync.

For months, every hour of our downtime was spent in the simulator, preparing for the day when we would face our enemy from the cockpit of a 170. Finally the day came to earn our wings, when the CIS staged a daring kidnapping of Chancellor Palpatine and was being escorted from Coruscant by a fleet of separatist ships. With few veteran pilots on planet, many of the 501st were pressed into service to drive off the seps and buy time for a pair of Jedi Knights to rescue the chancellor….

No probelm lol, if theres ever something that is "off" about a song (not entirely movie accurate or part is in the movie and not in the track) just let me know and i will do my best to find the missing cue. I think so far some cues from ep 6 (it was a total bitch to put together, since theres so many "Alternates" and its low quality) and of course some stuff from Solo is missing, everything else you can make entirely "Music Only" versions of the movies.

That opening is so incredibly powerful, it sucks me in everytime without fail. Those pounding drums and that bombastic, powerful rendition of the Force theme, hammering in the desperation of the situation, as the two ships desperately race into the battle to save the Republic. Everything about it is so insanely impressive. I think it might actually be my favorite opening of the entire franchise, only rivaled by the original movie's opening shot.
