Chivington got lucky with finding the supply train at Johnson's Ranch. But even if Sibley had won Glorieta, Ft. Union would've proved to be too much. It was a campaign doomed to fail from the start, and had little to no effect on the rest of the Civil War.

What about all the soldiers from New Mexico responsible for the engagement that destroyed the supplies, a story completely left out of this account! Hasn't Pecos had Spanish speaking reenactors? They recount their activities and are completely left out of the story.
