So I haven’t used the Ergos personally but have heard good things about them. I’m no longer using my Masters as the broke after a year which I was very disappointed about and refuse to pay to fix them considering how much they cost in the first place.

Good review. I’ve been wondering which clipper to buy. I’m thinking of a clipper for personal use for short even hair cut. Thanks for your question Eric. A cheaper yet still very capable alternative would be the Wahl Super Taper cordless clipper. In the UK they cost about £65-70. Alternatively if you go for the corded version of the Super Taper they cost £45-50 pounds. Hope this helps.

Cordless masters just cuts overall better. They both cut down bulk about the same if you have a ceramic blade on the wahl clippers. The masters has a bigger battery but gets warm quicker than a senior will. Also for most people the masters is louder than the seniors but mine are about the same noise level as my seniors not sure why. Also being able to use double magnetic guards on masters is best guards money can buy imo. No guards in the box was a letdown for the masters for sure no excuse for that. Masters taper blade is the best fading blade imo. Its very easy to blend hair with it. The only thing i like a fade blade for is when i want to get closer to the skin on a skin fade. What i do to get around this on the masters is ill use a fade blade clipper (wahl seniors) to set in my skin line and then i just switch to my masters which can blend perfectly into it closed.

I like the Wahl premium guards personally, but the notches on the Masters is kind of the winner for me. Plus the Wahl has a fade blade and the Masters has a taper blade. So realistically, how much can u get each one for. The Seniors go for $250 on amazon, and same for Masters.

Whilst I personal favour the Andis Masters its my objective view and I'm not paid or sponsored by Andis. I still use Wahl clippers but if I had to choose one it would be the Master for me.

Kabir Sahny definitely the Seniors for me. Better build quality and more powerful. I’ve recently put ceramic blades on my Seniors and they stay much cooler and are really sharp.
