Amazing...from start to finish. Reflecting back perhaps the best way to remember both Brian and Fergus is the image of them on steps, on 4th of March 1994, should be a stain glass window to the entrance of newly upgraded Celtic Park. He maybe didn't want sun to shine on the goalie, Brian shines brighter than sun over us all still 🙂

Great to see Brian Dempsey. Most fans back in the day were drawn to him. I believe we should have a figure of his ilk on the modern day board who listens to fans and forwards their opinions. There has always been a detachment from the board and support. A great communicator. He maybe older but he still has the fans at his heart and soul. 🍀

I can`t believe in this entire series, that no-one has mentioned how badly we were mislead by the press back in the day & IMO, were the reason Fergus was booed, I believe the prospect of a strong Celtic both on & off the park was seriously worrying a predomenantly protestant ergo biased press, who gave us nothing but bad news, when in fact, the Celtic machine was gearing up for total domination, enter Martin & then Brendan who, with the financial backing we could always afford, showed just what could be achieved when the playing field was indeed level! Thank god for the internet!

Not me tho 😂 Again I have to say Brian really is a special man , even if he doesn’t think it. One massive thing these videos have shown me is even tho I thought the old board was naive but I’m seeing more and more they were actually totally aware of the wrong things they were doing . It actually sickens me more and more . No matter what I say ppl will not agree but I truly think this current board although no where near perfect are not as bad in any way as the old board.

I was 12 in March 1994. Can remember going occasionally with my dad to games at the old ground. It was dire stuff. Lot of 'ifs' there Martin, but the reality is that Rangers are struggling for a decent striker and that Joe Hart is doing his job, That's what its all about. Jungle was that empty under the kellys . The game on show must have been bad, Cause I can remember as we kid playing way my cars up and down the jungle steps and that was a game against aberdean. My full family are from birkenshaw . Dempsey must have loved living there . A loved my nana taking me to birkenshaw every week. Something was as always going my granpa my was the oldest brothers of the Docherty sadly my papa died when a was six months old but through my nana taking me to vist my papa brother and sisters . So felt like a knew my papa they installed old school values and morals and beliefs . A can see why my aunt aggy says uncle jj loved been round the Docherty house hold . There was always a laughter and good craic going on . Sadly all the community have been broken up they should have passed the house down to the next member of the family coming up . Thats my own opinion why community are all broken up you dont no your neighbor these days sadly . But weirdly birkenshaw has still got that old school community you could chap a door for some milk or sugar. Now everywhere else its sadly broken up Mr Dempsey a genuine gentleman class act had the pleasure of meeting him a few times also in my local church st brides in Bothwell.
