I remember my first time playing Rush on Kharg Island where the attacking team had to storm the beach and 2 jets would bomb the beach at the beginning of the round leaving a big cloud of dust and smoke. Battlefield 3 was so well done would love to see a remake of the game.

If u were a part of the "Gaming" Community for the last lets say 10 years and saw how everything shifted to "Live Service" Games you would know that every Game should be seen as Scam until proven otherwise they can literally support the Game 1 Year and drop it out of nowhere (looking at Bf5). And the worst Thing about it is, and that will happen to 2042, the 1 Year has literally 0 content and nothing will come after it so everyone will sit on their 70 to 120 "finished Game" price Tag and wont get a Refund.

I haven't played BF3 or BF4 in a very long time. However, I would still know my way around those maps -- because I played so much. I liked BF1 and even, to a lesser extent, BFV. However, none of those were as replayable as BF3 or BF4. I could play BF3 for hours and hours where time just flew by.

Dice didnt add a scoreboard because the monetization team told them not to. Why? They said if you feel like a winner every game you are more likely to spend money on the game. Dice said 2042 wasnt a competitive shooter. Thats why they featured everyone at the end of the round.

It was the launch that fucked it. Not enough 'recognized' maps/battles and the weapons balance took forever to find its sweet spot. it finally found its stride when The Pacific dropped and finally started to feel like a solid battlefield game, but by then a lot of the player base was gone and that sucks.. It definitely had plenty of potential, it needed some more iconic maps and battles and with a faster start for content and it could have been great.

Of course, I had to buy 3D assets and sometimes I need the help of freelancers (for example, for atr on Steam), but mostly I try to do everything on my own. I also have several helpers on Steam who help with moderation, technical support for players, as well as testing new updates and more.

Looks okay so far. They do have their own maps, I hope. Most of us already have BF3, etc and can always load those up and find a community server to play on. Battlebit is good stuff, too. Can't wait to see how it develops (only doing playtests atm). Crowz is another excellent Battlefield style game, launched Early Access recently. Edit: Yes, would like to see their own maps and content more. Copying existing stuff doesn't tell us much about their style and preferences.

It has a squad system added not long ago but it only works with you play with friends in your friends list, hope to see the same Squad System of BF too.
