Looks great but $6k for a light motorcycle with a tiny hub motor and a tiny battery is a bit much. Put some better equipment in it and cut the price in half and you might have something. That battery compartment should be good for at least 72 volt/ 60AH. Put a 3-5K watt motor in the back wheel. Get the top speed up to at least 65 MPH.

You are probably right but without knowing the full specs, it is really hard to justify the $4500 discounted price let alone the $6k list price.

@@ssteele1812 I would like to know what controller they are using on this bike. This bike should have little trouble hitting 50mph depending on the controller.

Those specs put it on par with others in this price range. With that, the custom styling and presumably better engineering/build quality make the price tag more palatable.

Great effort, guys; I'm very tempted. Are there any plans to release a light motorcycle version of the 64 as well? I prefer the aesthetic of the 64 to the Aviator, and would be all over a LM version of that on Kickstarter. Thoughts?

Unfortunately not. Aviator will be replacing the '64. However we are planning on releasing a limited number of LM '64s at the end of this year. Join the email list on our website for that!

@@beachmanbikes Awesome news on the LM '64, as I really like the proportions of the '64 compared with the Aviator - much more "balanced" to my eye. Hopefully there will also be preferred (kickstarter-type) pricing for folks like us that sign up for the LM '64 (can't wait).
