7:18 He did propose to open a restaurant WITH her at the end of season 1 and they came to an agreement about him, her and nat taking pay cuts to make the restaurant work. So yes, they're obviously partners in THAT way except they don't have it down on paper.

I understand that part however In episode 2x3 Syd is talking to an old coworker friend who is a chef and she lets her know she's got a partner. And the chef asks her what is her profit share and Syd responds "Oh not like that, We're just working together" and the chef responds "got it." In a weary tone. So my concerns are that Syd and Carmy are not on on the same page when it comes to what their roles looks like. That's why I keep saying they need to sit down and hash it out so everyone clearly knows what each persons roles are in this restaurant. Also Nat and Syd have deferred their payments for 6 months which I believe means they will get all of that money back for the time they worked for when it hits that 6 month period. Hopefully that clears up what I was trying to say in the review!

I think Marcus, (is that the guy's name,) saving that guys life is thematically relevant because his mom is dying and he can't save her. I'm pretty sure it's not going to be a continuing plot thread.

The whole season is great but ep. 7 is the banger ep. It won that actor the emmy this year. Ebon Moss or something is his name.

Have you seen Ramy? I feel like it has very similar tones, and of a similar vein dramedy wise. If you haven't, I bet you would love it.

you keep asking “carmy what the heck” about every decision catmy makes but i literally asked you to ALWAYS keep in mind carmy’s mental state and mental health issues because when you do it all makes sense. and when you don’t you end up turning on carmy like everyone else.

sydney’s problem is narcissism and superiority complex. she thinks she has equal knowledge and experience to carmy but she doesn’t. she keeps acting more and more like a brat. she never apologized for fucking up with to go orders never apologized for stabbing richie but keeps asking like some kind of unfairly treated victim.

can’t believe you missed it. carmy obviously gave her a fake number on purpose.
