I think people think that because of not wanting the show to run too long & because the show creator and the shows stars have a lot of new projects to focus on. But they honestly could do more than 4 seasons, because with how they had been shooting, season 5 wouldn't need to begin shooting until early 2026.

No, it isn't. In fact, when it was reported that FX had quietly renewed The Bear for season 4, it was also reported that a 5th season is "on the table." As some already said, people are saying this out of wishful thinking, or based on what they believe is most likely to happen. But there is, as of yet, no evidence that The Bear is ending after Season 4.
