Absolute treat to see what you’ve done with small sized van. Well thought out and supremely organised. Credit to our trade!

Thank you for showing how you organize your van. Really gives a good idea. VW is my favorite as got a golf from 11years. Will go for caddy when buying one as it is a similar drive. Thanks mate.

another great video mate.so much gear in the such a small van.racked out perfectly to suit your work.i miss my old BG van but been working on gas fitter side for 15 years now and use a renault traffic .still have all my appliances qualifications and gas registration but hardly touch boilers now.i love my velocity rouge 3.0.all tools there for pipework and electrical.so easy to get tools to hand quickly.also have the MCT but found the unzipping the sides a long process. keep up the videos and stay safe mate :)

Thanks for reaching out and sharing your experience too! Will be doing a full bag review on the MCT, and uploading it next weekend! Stay safe

Another great video mate! I have a swb caddy too. I'm amazed at how well you have laid it out. The racking seems to make a massive difference.

Hey matey! Thanks a lot... appreciate ur comment! Like I mentioned in another comment, u need to rack up the sides of all vans, to utilise all the space... when I worked with my dad as a kid, I hated having to take so much stuff out to get a small part or tool under everything 🤦🏽♂️ Glad u enjoyed the video bud! Stay safe

@@thebeardedheatingco yeah the videos are really useful, even though i am not in the same trade to get some tips on van layouts, tool bag reviews etc are a great help

Thought at the start all you was going to show buckets 😂 as they looked like they would take all your caddy space. Great video and great set up. I'm surprised you got so much in the caddy. Especially after all them big buckets 👍 i have a sprinter and still struggle with space 😅

Lol!!! Mate TBH, when I was editing, I thought the same... Gorilla Buckets Galore 😂 What I've found, is that u need to rack up the sides of all vans, to utilise all the space... when I worked with my dad as a kid, I hated having to take so much stuff out to get a small part or tool under everything 🤦🏽♂️ Glad u enjoyed the video bud! @@thebeardedheatingco yeah I need to do the other side of my van. Its a space for steps, hoses and anything else I can hang. Wasted space. You have definitely given me the inspiration to get the other side done. Stay safe pal to you and your family 🙏

Worth the wait but glad to finally get the chance to have a nose around. Thanks for the tour. I recently bought the same van but only 1 side door. I’m going to buy the metal shelves from Aldi I’ve been considering. Interesting side note about the rogue 2.0 aswell, would you not miss the A4 storage for certs in the TPXL?
@thebeardedheatingco3 жыл бұрын
Yes mate! Apologises for the delay in posting the video! The metal shelving would be ideal as you've seen that's what I used! It's cheap and strong, and with an angle grinder and pop rivets, the creativity is endless. And with regards to the Velocity Rogue2.0, after using the Veto MCT for the month of Nov, I've missed my rogue bag... the bigger bags don't do anything extra for me as a breakdown and servicing engineer, and therefore will use the MCT as boiler/rad swap install bag and the Veto TP-XL as a spare fully loaded tool bag to keep in my GTi for emergencies. And I don't do any physical paperwork, all my admin is done on my iPhone12Mini using the Gas Engineer Software! Sorry for the long post/answer. Thought it would help with ur questions! Feel free to ask if u have any more questions mate! Stay safe and well!

Great idea to modify standard garage shelving! Could I ask what sort of inverter ( ie how many watts) you use to charge your batteries and how many of those chargers can be run simultaneously? Also, when in use is there any risk that a standard alternator couldn't supply enough power and eventually the vehicle battery goes flat?
