Loved this. I am a student at the university of Montana majoring in wildlife biology and minoring in climate change. I want to become a bear biologist and make it my life mission to save these majestic animals. I know that they play an important part in our ecosystem. Thank you for raising awareness of how amazing these bears are and the threats they’re facing.

Thank You all so much for What you are doing now & have Already Done too Help the Grizzlies. Decades ago I had Lance Craighead's Father's & His Uncle's Books, dealing with Thier Outstanding Study of the Bears in 1965 through 1975. By National Geographic Foundation, & the Other's. It was Great stuff. This Short but very Fine Documentary will Help, immensely I'm sure along with the Future Effort's being used & Developed. Have the US, Agency's, connected with the Canadian Agencies, too Work together on the Migration Route Alternatives?. I know from Prior personal research & just General reading about Thier on going Projects. That they have had some decent Success up there. A last thing Here is Please continue too ask or Have Mr Jeff Bridges, Narrate Your Programs, for Your Research & Recovery Groups. That Man is Such a current ICon? Of this Nation & World Right now 👍👍. Please Keep talking too US Mr Bridge's. Unfortunately if You can't? Maybe Your Brother Beau, could step in For You Occasionally. Thank You All Again So Much. Wyoming, Robert,🇨🇦🇺🇸🇨🇦🇺🇸🇨🇦🇺🇸🤔🤔👀👀😎😎🙏🙏🙏

Strange theory considering the population has only been on the rise…I wonder if the population increase has anything to do with human conflict not the reasons you suggested in the vide.

I would sure like to know how climate change has taken away the white bark pine nuts/trees????????

The happiness I feel for these wonderful people dedicating thier lives to help the Grizzly is so touching. We need to find ways to not just protect Grizzly bears, but rather how do we re-establish this white pine bark trees. We need more preservation in the forestry division, get these experts that know how to make these trees more plentiful. I'm a wood carver myself, and carved some great carvings of Grizzly bears, Birds, flowers with grass blades, and many others to mention just a few. I think for the most part as humans: We don't truly understand Grizzly bears as well as we should? The same hold trues about the hunter that shot a mother bear because that bear stood up to check out the area. This is not a form of aggression, the mother was trying to figure a safe way to get her cubs out of harms way? When a Grizzly bear is rapidly swatting at the ground in front of them with thier paws, it's warning to back off. I see park rangers hazing Grizzly bears when they are turning over small rocks to feed on insects for thier protein source, these bears need that protein. In fact I seen on a video the other day: the Rangers 2 of them yelling out for all to get back into thier vehicles which was a smart move: however, I see a Grizzly bear feeding on insects by turning over rocks, then the Ranger does the unspeakable: shoots a shotgun not 2 feet away from the bear, you can see the buckshot hitting the ground, and some of the buckshot hitting the bear, maybe not purposely but still. This bear was minding it's own business, but was chased off by 2 Park Rangers that claim the bear was acting aggressive in Yellow Stone NP. Where is thier training, and I thought these majestic bears have the right away, can you imagine what this did to a bear trying to feed, this is a shame even though the bear did not seemed injured, what about mentally? How does this bear handle being around humans the next time? I think this is why some bears do attack because some people are not very smart, and do not have the correct training as Park Rangers? If this bear charged or even started swatting at the ground, bear spray or several warning shots would have been better? We have little time in making good adjustments, God is watching us all: one day we all have to answer to Him, our judgment toward Grizzly bears, and all animals will be placed into judgement according to our actions.

What will tell our grandkids when the world isn't habitable for them? It's not just wildlife that is threatened.

I don't understand how someone can say a statement as fact like 6:00 the whitebark pine, to all accounts is taken out by non-native species of invasive beetles. The beetles have been 100% unmanaged by the federal government, but also allowed in the country because of a lack of enforcement at our borders of invasive pests and no root-cause analysis or punitive prosecution or consequences for invasive species. Tying the conservation efforts to "climate change" theory is destructive to your agenda of saving bears, which I think most people would support. Too much crying, piano music, and whining, not enough facts to support why you're doing this. Predation competition is the fact the same "conservationists" (used specifically as all negative -ist words like islamists) have forced the reintroduction of wolves, which kill indiscriminately and territorial against herbivores and bears alike. The populations have been 100% unmanaged in yellowstone due to perverted federal laws in yellowstone so populations are unmanaged. The sentiment of this has "leaked" in to the brains of voters who now think wolves will be a great, positive addition to other places where populations are already managed. Bears are the victims of fake research supporting the wolves and terrible forestry and game population management, not climate change. You're going to continue to face these perverse challenges until wolf populations can be culled and cubs are not killed by wolves. Whitebark pine needs pest management strategy. Bears need small ~100 yard preserves around their winter dens.

Lots of weird sensitive hippies driveling on about fear, sadness, and other feelings. No generational ranchers or cowboys who work the land. People standing in culverts, not in the woods. Not one of the people talking has a Wyoming or rocky mountain accent. Guy wearing a Stanford hat... I'll continue to boycott patagonia.

All of the tipping points 🤣 This nonsense will be hilarious 10, 20, 30 years from now when we look back on what a bunch of bullshit this whole thing actually is... Anything the government pushes is likely to be fueled by profiteering scumbags. If it were real, people would be asking for it and denied like how it really is today. I think this bear fund was just late to the game to collect money 😂
