I just finished watching it and i don't understand, by the is it implied that the "werewolf" part was just cope and unreal and he was just an abusive father?
@jugurthasyphax634123 күн бұрын
Yes, that's what the ending strongly implies. Another clue is that when the wife undresses, her body is covered in bruises, but not claw scratches or bite marks, indicating that she was beaten by a human, punched and kicked rather than attacked by a beast.

@@jugurthasyphax6341 what a fucking waste of my time, the entire thing that drew people to watch it was the concept of werewolf with kit Harrington, and btw this entire movie if it was made in Hollywood could have been sued for misleading the audience since that new law that came out two years ago, cause this entire movie was promoted as a werewolf movie, every poster implied and every trailer, I hate this subversion of expectations that modern filmmakers have, like they think they doing something just cause they pulled the "ah fooled ya" at the end

Another wasted attempt at a werewolf film, further catapulting the most underrepresented horror sub-genre further into the abyss of most forgettable movies. Why won't these film makers learn anything from previous, similar attempts at the werewolf movie? The MOST important thing about a werewolf movie, is the WEREWOLF! Get that right and you've won half the battle already. It's no wonder so many good werewolf stories never get the green light when stuff like this keeps coming out.

I dont understand the ending can anyone explain it to me i thought the werewolf got burnt but then we saw her dad and her mother lying on the ground and the dad saying your a little monster to the little girl
@fu463Ай бұрын
Bear with me. English was always my lowest grade throughout school. From my interpretation I feel like it’s all in the little girls head. There is no werewolf. As kids your told stories about werewolves, vampires, zombies, Frankenstein, etc. The father was a domestic abuser and her seeing him as a werewolf or “monster” was the way her mind processed the trauma of seeing her father beat her mother. In one of the scenes, I believe in the middle of the movie, the mother hops out of the car and changes her shirt. You can see bruises and marks as if she was beaten. And have u also noticed when the mother and grandfather were crawling under the dining room floor it sounded like boots walking around and not a “werewolf”. I mean we barely even saw the thing the whole movie. And wouldn’t a werewolf be able to sniff you out or hear you? There’s no way a werewolf wouldn’t have heard all the sounds they were making. Especially talking. And when the grandfather got impaled on the antlers, why didn’t the werewolf finish him off.? He was hanging on them I believe. And it just neatly took him off and sat him on the floor? I have so many questions. And when it showed the scene when the three of them were in the bed. She says “ I like it when your like this”. Meaning when he’s not abusive. That’s just what I got from the movie.

This was a cheap out on the level of lost. Why so many scenes with him being chained up with the pig. Are we to believe he is also an animal abuser... to what end. If this was the turn they were going to take they did too much to make us think a real werewolf existed. I was enjoying the movie for what it was until the cheap Shyamalanesque twist. It fails horribly.

I just watched “No Way Up” on AMC+ and I was surprised with how much I dug it. It’s lowly rated mainly because of the B-premise and then the movie being more of a dramatic survival film than a dumb fun shark movie like the premise makes it seem like it’s going to be. I’m actually kind of glad it went the route it does. It caught me off guard with the good production value and the sharks are on the more realistic side than CGI monsters like usual. Gave it 3.5 couches. The dialogue and characters can be rough at times but it’s more good than it is bad imho.

Yet another film that was advertised as a "horror" that ended up being dull as ditch water. The film came across like it was made by media studies students who thought they were doing something revolutionary. The problem for me is this whole 'humans are the real monsters' trope has become really boring and has been done to death. Is it so bad to want to see an ACTUAL werewolf movie??

I’ve been patiently waiting for a good werewolf movie. Best one I’ve found is Dog Soldiers. The Howling would be good but the overload of sex stuff in that movie takes me away from a good werewolf story. Dog Soldiers is good. About as good as it gets so far. Hopefully this one is decent. Decent enough anyway.
