Jai is reminding me of the Soviet Style, utilizing the pendulum step, being light on his feet, using the in-and-out footwork, and ring IQ. I love it. 🥊❤

Absolutely loved this analysis of Jai. You really broke down every facet of his style in exceptional detail! He is almost artistic in his style and an absolute handful to contain. The perfect combination of finesse and violence.

Great vid & analysis. I feel like you should've mentioned that Jai had a broken jaw in 2 places in the 1st Briedis fight to accentuate how tough & determined he is. Especially like the flaws segment, so few boxing chans are unbiased 🥊

if the cruiserweights duck him then he should move up to heavyweight. I think he beats both Zurdo and CBS but Ramirez gives him a hard fight. I don't think Usyk's success at heavyweight is just a one off, I could absolutely see him taking out a few elite heavyweights and possibly becoming champion. His speed and coordination would be too much for a lot of the big clunky heavyweights of today. Remember Dubois was dropped hard by a Cruiserweight, Lerena, before being stopped by Usyk. While I think Zhang is one of the most skilled fighters in the division and would blow out Bakole, Dubois, and just about anyone who tries to stand and bang with him, I think Opetaia would give him hell by presenting a moving target that bites. If there's one fighter I'd avoid it would be Bakole, I think his fluidity as a combination puncher takes a lot of people by surprise and his skillset seems well equiped for taking down small, fast men. Then again he did lose to Hunter.

The guy is too intense for me 😂 but maybe because he has to lose the weight. Heavyweight is his destiny he will cause problems there with his boxing skill/tough aura and less pressure to lose the weight.

I question how good he is, or are other fighters not wanting to fight him. But I feel except for Bredis, who he has beaten twice, the first perhaps more impressive, Who has he really beaten. If he of course could be Gilberto Ramirez, then of course, he will cement his status as a great.

@BoxingLife
@BoxingLife Ай бұрын
Personally I think he is too big to go down to 175. Bivol also may be too small to go up to Cruiser. Saying that, he did beat Zurdo comfortably who is now a cruiserweight and southpaw. Maybe a catch weight could see it happen?
@mbr2523
@mbr2523 Ай бұрын
@BoxingLife yeah, how many KOs does he have? Bivol seems to be a lil faster, but given he's at a lighter weight class, that's no surprise. But thanks for this video cause I never knew about this guy. I'm def a fan now cause I love this style of boxing.
