Hi There, thank you for putting this together, super useful!! I was wondering if you had a place to download the presets for the individual plugins rather than the in the studio rack format. Waves has not updated studio rack to work on Apple Silicon M1 computers, which I am using. Unfortunately, I downloaded the presets from this link, and my computer doesn't know what to do with them. Do you have settings for ADT, the REDD, the Saturator, the J37, etc that can be downloaded individually?

What microphone and preamp are you using for the vocals and piano? (It looks like a U87 or U67) How did you record the vocals so close to the mic without build up in the low end/sibilance? Fantastic recreation! A+++
@farosonico3 жыл бұрын
Wish i had a Neumann! For the piano i used a Lewitt LCT 140 and a Rode M3. For vocals y usually use other microphones but for this i used a Studio Projects B1 thru a DBX376 preamp. I like a lot to sing close to the microphone and use the foam cover instead of a pop filter. The capsule is a little off axis to avoid sibilance and for the low end i use the cut switch at 70 hz

Good day! I downloaded the preset you had boy it's great! I just have one issue though, it's about the delay on the john lennon's preset. In this video, the feedback and delay was very good and well suited. However in my song, it kinda feels weird and sounds more like a microphone or something - it doesn't give off that john lennon mellow voice vibe. Can you help me out? Btw thank you so much for such informative video!

how did you mic the drums they sound great ? & what mics ?
@farosonico4 жыл бұрын
i took a very simplistic approach, based on photos of Ringo recording and online info about their gear. I used a kickdrum microphone (Lewitt 340 rex) an overhead (AKG D190) an SM57 under snare and a Low tom microphone (AKG D222) The floor tom was tuned really low, to emulate the sound of timpani. How i mixed them, is in the video.

Many thanks for any guidance you may provide.
