I'm glad that the cartoon "Eleanor Rigby" didn't suffer the same fate as the person who's mentioned in the song. I used to be afraid to hear this song when I was a kid. But after though examination of the song lyrics, I was able to understand the theme as I had gotten older. This is definitely a bonafide masterpiece from the Fab Four. 😎👍🎉🎊

I love how this cartoon captures how both John and Paul had such loud, passionate personalities all along. Just arguing over which way they should go and that bit in the beginning there - it was pretty cool! On another note, this song was the one that got me into The Beatles all those years ago. What a classic!

Eleanor Rigby is one of the few singalongs I remember when I watched these cartoons back in the late '60s

This cartoon has a really nice ending to it in particular showing how music can spread happiness and positivity between people and a neighbourhood as well with Eleanor Rigby, Father Mackenzie and the other more elderly characters in the town where Eleanor lives and between the young children and I think it shows how understanding the two generations are with each other so for example with Eleanor Rigby, the elderly and often lonely adults sometimes and the younger children coming together for a party at the end and I think the children just need to know more about Eleanor Rigby to be more understanding to her and to understand that she was just a sad bitter old lady as James said in the cartoon and also due to her sociological environment as he said too. I think it should still remain a message to children today that sometimes just because an older or elderly person could look or sound bitter or could come across like that or if they seem distant and want to be alone it doesn’t mean they’re mean or horrible it could just mean they’re unhappy and lonely perhaps and just need cheering up and to have some company and it’s how you shouldn’t judge someone by their appearance and to think before judging someone because people aren’t always what they seem just from first sight and if you thought wrong of them the first time you should learn from the mistake you’ve made and you should give yourself another chance and the person another chance so they can show you what they’re personality is really like to prove that they could look mean and bitter to someone but they’re really not like that at all and they’re people just like you and me.

Everything in this cartoon is so cheesy and nostalgic, and then they actually play the song, and it's like ;_; all those feels. I'm glad things turned out alright for Eleanor Rigby.

Ah look at all the lonely people. Ah look at the lonely people. Eleanor rigby picks up the rice in the church where a wedding has been. Lives in dream. Waits at the window, wearing a face that she keeps in a jar by the door, who is it for. All the lonely people, Where do they all come from? All the lonely people, where do they all belong? Father McKenzie writing the words of a sermon that no one will hear. No one comes near. Look at him working Balling his socks when no one is there. What does he care. All the lonely people where do they all come from? All the lonely people. Where do they all belong? Ah look at all the lonely people.

Hey I made a mistake Paul Frees does an ok George. He did not do Ringo. I think there should be a cartoon called "The Adventures of Justin Bieber". LOL Or The Backstreet Boys as a cartoon. LOL Maybe Miley Sirus as a cartoo. Uh that would be X rated.

Right. And the homeless. And the disabled. And those in prisons and mental institutions. And the homebound. And victims of any and all kinds of addiction. And the abused and bullied. And victims of misunderstood illnesses such as AIDS and hepatitis. And pregnant teens and single parents. And homosexuals and transexuals. And any and all other society "misfits". Sometimes I feel like Eleanor Rigby. Not always, just sometimes. It's amazing how cruel people can be to each other.

Since The Beatles themselves didn't like this cartoon and didn't want to lend their voices, the people had to hire voice actors that can do a close enough impression of the boys.
