The Beatles: Get Back- Movie Review

Well said. I've been confused by reviews saying it's too long, suggesting cutting out 2 hours, etc. Having been around people who write and record music, as well as being an admirer of different artists, filmmakers, etc, having this documentary playing just allows you to be in the room while they work on their stuff, and that's everything you could ask for. It's just nourishing to be around that level of creativity and skill, especially with a group as naturally fun and entertaining as the Beatles. It's not about getting "information" or factoids as with other documentaries. It's a gift to just watch their process. What can a creative person do with 8 hours that's better than hang out with the Beatles?

"Get Back" = also "get away from complex multilayered recording trickery and getting back to basic 'live' performances"? Loved it.
