Thank you so much, Rob. When my daughter was a toddler, I could pick the melody but not play it full the way you've shown us here. We had fun playing and singing along with the recording anyway. We have happy memories of this and over the years we always sing it together when we hear it. My baby is 24 now and I cannot wait to surprise her with my new skills playing this beautiful song. Thank you so much.

Now I would like to play Something in a way, Don’t let me down, Stairway to Heaven, Dirty old bosa nova, and Father and Son. I would appreciate that a lot. Thank you Sir.

This was very helpful, thank you. After the bridge (the repetitive, "Sun, sun, sun, here it comes"), when it goes to the four A voicings, it sounds to me like the fourth A voicing is an A7 - open A string, 2d fret of D string, open G string, 2d fret of B string, and 3d fret of high E string (i.e. the high D note, as opposed to the high E note on the 5th fret of the high string)..

I've been butchering that chorus section for EVER!! I'm really a lead vocalist/writer over 25 and closer to 30 years, but after I retired I started trying to improve my guitar playing, and I'm not half bad, but that also means I'm not half good either!! ") SO, I've been playing this song for decades, and recently I thought I'd try and get it right, just for shitz n giggles (although "giggling" isn't too manly, so I don't really giggle...still...sigh) I tried to get it and looked at a few different on line teachers without much success, because all I saw was a calamari mix of tangled fingers on this section!! For whatever reason, you've managed to accomplish what other great, rock solid players/teachers couldn't, and I've got it!! I almost want to get some guys together so I can do this live PROPERLY!! Although, to be honest none of the drunkards who come to the clubs ever know the difference, they love it all!! Thank God for beer...too much of it is best!! ") Thank you brother, I think I'll sub and might learn something else, anything is possible!! EDIT} Well, what do you know, I am already subbed!! For reasons only the weasels at YouBoob can explain, I haven't had you channel come up in my notification feeds for quite some time!! I'll have to keep an eye on that!! Jack ~'()'~

Thanks for taking the time and for posting. Great job and pretty much exactly how I play it (except I prefer the 12 string). My favorite version is with George being accompanied by Pete Ham of Badfinger at the Concert for Bangladesh). 😁 One slight difference is that instead of using my ring finger to slide up on the G string, I prefer to hammer on with my pinky. It is less movement and much easier (although I sometimes mix it up and do both).
