I love the different sounds introduced by the Moog on Abbey Road, but my favorite one is the white noise that builds up at the end of “I Want You…” It sounds like time, space and matter is slowly disintegrating, almost like a nuclear Holocaust.

Sorry, the story is not completely told. This MoogIIIp, this Synthesizer, from Abbey Road, was sold to Germany and than used eight Years later on "i feel love" (Summer/Moroder). Now this device is in the German Museum in Munich.

For the last time, Robert Moog's last name, is PRONOUNCED the same as "Vogue", NOT the sound a cow makes.!!!
@CTBroadfoot Жыл бұрын
Robert’s own parents pronounced it in the cow form - he only changed the pronunciation because his wife (who was a teacher) complained, but always said that he didn’t care how it was pronounced!

The second track, the 25-minute "No Time or Space," was not even written by George himself but rather by his one-time collaborator Bernie Krause, which was merely a demonstration of the Moog III which went down during the making of Jackie Lomax' album. Despite this flap, George included the song as backing underneath (the track fades in and out and in and out during the song) his "I Remember Jeep" song from the third LP of his All Things Must Pass album.

The first synthesizer actually flew in from and landed from outer space. Robert Moog didn't actually invent the Moog he just found it on a beach somewhere fully created. Like all good inventors, he just took all of the credit and hoped no one would notice.
