Ringo is by far the most underrated drummer. Listen to this again and pay close attention to the drums. They are far more complex than you would imagine for an otherwise simple song like this. And that is the genius of Ringo's drumming. He always played what worked best for the song.

Paul had wider range and he certainly has a very beautiful tone, but the reason why I was able to spot a Beatles song immediately, when I was a little kid, was because of John’s raspy voice. It’s like The Beatles fingerprint. I think The Beatles would’ve never got so popular if not for John’s voice because it’s fantastic, it has a timber and texture that makes their harmonies sound so unique and recognizable.
