Easy to find the film footage to this performance. Ok, I just did a search and it would seem they took down most of the live clips of that performance ... They cracking down on a lot of Beatles clips, sad, it used to be easy to find all these cool Beatles clips ... well, no more :(

I love that lyric so much and how John sings it...there are so many great recs in the comments, I didn't see anyone recommending John Lennon's "Instant Karma" or Paul McCartney's "Maybe I'm Amazed", they were their two big solo hits right after Let It Be and are great songs!

Oh, my!!! Listening to this song as a little kid, I loved it! As I got older I recognized how it was a beautiful example of John and Paul taking two different songs, and combining them so seamlessly. I think they did that better than any other band. Great reaction....Thank You so much!

They were together from 1957, 1958-ish to 1970, BUT, they didn’t get famous until 1962/1963-ish (in England), and then took over America and the world in April/March 1964 (kicking off the the British Invasion)--when people say “they were only together for 6 or 7 years”, what they mean is that they only made albums for 6 or 7 years (from 1963 to 1970)
