JayveeTV omg...you’re so young. Okay. Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison, and Richard “Ringo Star” Starkey makes up the Beatles. They changed the face of music and the world with each album. Half or more of the music today wouldn’t exist if it wasn’t for them. Explore them more. You’ll not regret it. Early on it was pop. But as the world changed, so did their music.

He has something you will never have- the entire catalogue of Beatles to explore, and the absolute ability to appreciate what he is hearing. He doesn't have a clue. He is no idiot and you are unkind. Stop watching these videos and find a good councilor, as you are probably racist as well, and hate that this music is being used in such a healing fashion. However old you may be, you need to grow up. None of the Beatles would ever have seen your comments as anything but foolish, the words of an idiot. All you need is love. We can work it out.

This is just a rehearsal. Their plan was to film a documentary of them rehearsing an album then debut it live in a concert. They never did a real concert but instead went up to the roof on a cold January day and played a few new songs. The cops shut them down because some neighbors complained about the noise. George Harrison could also sing and write. In fact he has the best selling single for an ex-Beatle with My Sweet Lord and I think his debut album All Things Must Pass is the best selling album by an ex Beatle. It’s also one of the all time great albums.

The guy singing was Paul McCartney. This was a period where all 4 of the Beatles let their hair grow out. Paul actually dreamed this song, his mother is Mary and she came to him in a dream during a sad time in his life. Mother Mary came to me and said Paul just let it be, you'll be alright. Mary, Paul's mother was a nurse/midwife and she hadn't been dead long when he had the dream. The song "Hey Jude" also written by Paul about Jullian (Jude/Jules) John Lennon's eldest son by his 1st wife Julia. He wrote it shortly after John and his first wife Cynthia's divorce. Jules was sad and had a broken heart so Paul wrote it to cheer the child up. PS I love your show and your honesty in your reaction!🙏👍🌞 Kudos 🙏👍🥂💞🙂🙏

That's Paul McCartney singing (ya silly) and he was talking about Mal(colm) Evans, their bodyguard/assistant who was always present in the studio doing odd jobs. The organ was being played by the magnificent Billy Preston (who very nearly became a permanent member). This is a very raw and alternate take that is very much just a rehearsal and rarely seen. Thanks for the post. You didn't see John Lennon on this though you did hear him. He played bass and was sitting on the floor next to the piano.

I love all the comments about the songs I recommended I was just giving an example of some of the songs one might listen to to understand the talent of each of the Beatles. I love While my guitar gently weeps and Yellow Submarine. I was just giving some examples. I have been a huge Beatles Fan since I saw them on Ed Sullivan when I was 8 years old. My mother was from England my dad a DJ and I had every Beatles album ever released in America and the UK. Some versions were different. But keep on suggesting new ones. Let's get the reactor into The Beatles Fan club!!!

That would be Paul McCartney singing, George Harrison was doing background vocals and playing the lead guitar, we didn't really see Lennon here, but he's adding backing vocals and probably playing rhythm guitar, and of course that's Ringo Starr on drums. We also see Billy Preston on organ who played on the album but was not a member of the band. I love your line......."The Beatles got a lot of good hits, man" Classic understatement! You owe it to yourself to hear ALL of their material!

Consider this--the video for "Hey Jude" was filmed on the David Frost Show in September of 1968, and this video. as part of what became the film "Let It Be," was filmed sometime in January or February of 1969, or less than 5 months later. In terms of sound, musical content/volume of songs, image, and style, The Beatles covered a lot of ground in such a short time.

Paul McCarntey's mother was called Mary and she died before he made it famous. One night he dreamt that his mum had come to him and reassured him that all would be good, saying "let it Be", which was unusual for his mum... they wern't famous then, but he wrote a song about the dream. Strangely, my mother was calledMary and the week she died, every single time, and i mean, EVERY single time i got in the car and turned on the radio, this song was either playing or came on straight after the first song............ I think she was telling me she was ok. Paul's mum was saying, yes, do it , its ok. x
