I think you make a good point, maybe I missed my point which really was that they put a very individual sound together even if they were influenced by any others..not including the early inventors such as Little Richard, Chuck Berry, Solomon Burke etc I think that it was then the american bands trying to emulate the brits that had taken rock to a new plane....anyway we all enjoy..thanks for comment
