"Twist and Shout" was actually NOT written by the Beatles, it's just a cover! However they are ones who made it famous! It was actually written in 1961 by Medley & Berns and recorded by the Top Notes-- the song was not originally successful. The Beatles rendition of this song was released in 1963 on their first album "Please Please Me" based around the Isley Brothers version. Not many people know that!
Another video in July!? Just trying something out for a bit, weekly instead of monthly? I'll try it out for a month or two and see how I like it haha! I'm pretty busy so let's see if I can do it. Also I can't tell if it's just me or not but it sounds a little flat doesn't it? It's tuned perfect but I guess I might just need to change my strings-- haven't done that in 7 months... which is better than 7-ish years (Totally didn't do that before the 7 months LOL) I need to change my strings or maybe I'm just overthinking it ANYWAY enjoy! This was one of the first few songs I learned when I started learning bass. The lighting is "o k" in this video, sorrryyyy.
