I love this scene. What stands out to me is how cool Elvis dance moves were. Nothing fancy but had so much style and fit his music so well. I remember a line from the TV show Happy Days. Somebody said your the coolest Fonz, and somebody said what about Elvis? Fonz says Elvis is close. That was a huge compliment coming from the Fonz. No one ever was or ever will be as cool as Elvis.

Hell, for a man who has been unfairly criticized for “stealing,” black culture yet Tupac followed Elvis’ fashion footsteps by rocking a gold lamé jacket and black paints in addition to being the first exception to the rule of never wearing white socks with black shoes before Michael Jackson was born let alone wore his first pair of shoes.

She said she had to get out into the world and find herself. She had no problem waiting 8 years for Elvis to marry her. She knew who she was marrying and she knew the lifestyle of Elvis. She also knew that the name Mrs. Elvis Presley would take her places and divorce would take her places and it did, plus, Elvis gave her two million dollars on divorce day, and bought her a house. I guess that she needed another man to help her find herself too. Lol. She and EPE have made millions off of Graceland and Elvis's legacy over the years and are still making big bucks. I think it is sad.

I always found it ironic that Ann Margret married Roger Smith exactly one week after Elvis and Priscilla did. I think she loved Roger but knew that her and Elvis couldn't be together and probably wouldn't last, so she married Roger, yes out of love, but she also knew her heart would be safe with him. I love that she's never betrayed Elvis' trust, even after his death. She's a class act.
