@@venderstrat I read one take. The entire first album was recorded in a day. It was added because Martin thought the album needed something. John had been singing for hours drinking milk, eating lozenges and smoking. After this song he couldn't talk for days. I believe it's called THE MOST PRODUCTIVE 12 HOURS IN MUSIC HISTORY.

May i please know your generations for example im in my 30's im a millenial im just asking cuz paul mccartney is doing a australian tour and tickets are selling like crazy on presale my father said he didnt think tix would sell quick but i was just wondering what generations would be at the concerts. Im in my 30's ive got my tix already.

The original twist and shout is by the isley brothers, but the beetles covered the song better.
