I really don't know much about music so I have a hard time distinguishing genres like breakcore, dnb, uk garage, baltimore club, jersey club, they all just sound similar to my ear 😭😭 and i think this explanation helps see their differences well!

Me encantaría que también pudieras mostrar el "Channel rack" para mostrar los patrones de los ritmos de cada genero, se que es tedioso, pero creo que aportaría aún más información para poder identificar cada sonido de cada genero musical.

sorry to bother but can we still request songs for genre recognition? /gq

bro ur knowledge and taste are so...well rounded for the lack of a better word. ur so cool !! i just wish i could listen to a song and pin it to a specific genre, bc sometimes i would be listening to some good ass music, but no algorithm can provide me with similar sounding songs 😭

I guess you could kind of build a dembow from the 3vs2 that you comment, but the spirit of it is in the syncopation of the upbeat rather than the polyrithm (which isn't always present either)

What’s the difference between a regular UK garage beat and a 2-step garage beat? I can’t tell the difference 😭
@muratsebert83462 ай бұрын
2-Step is actually a part of UK Garage but UK Garage as a whole style can also include some electronic or house rhythms (for example, SHINee's View is UK Garage and Future House, but not just 2-Step)
