I started playing the piano last year and just now with the ukulele. I immediately fell in love with that beautiful instrument, but love the piano too and only playing chords on the ukulele felt a bit off. This now feels like home, thank you so much!! As I just started, I will learn the basics first, but now I have something to look up to and come back when I am ready :)
@MarcoCirilloUkulele3 жыл бұрын
Absolutely! Take your time learning the basics. They are super important.

You stole my comment, but I'm not angry. I love playing Bach on the uke, I've done Menuet in Sol G, and just started learning Prélude in C. It works fine until about the 9th measure. I just ordered a Baritone so I'm looking forward to having lower notes. Bon continuation.

"Für Elise" means "For Elise" in German as it was composed for Elise
@agherisyoutube12693 жыл бұрын
@@myburgher Yes but I think what he means is that the pieces name is "Für Elise". For example just as it is "Rondo alla Turca" and not "the turkish march". I personally think translating an original pieces name doesn't make sense but of course it's not that big of a deal ;)

Marco, I've always loved this piece but all my single notes and melody don't ring out, they are dull. What am I doing wrong?

Hi Emma. It is probably because there is a gap between the notes you play. Try to hold the notes for as long as you can ... I hope this helps.

I'm finding I can successfully avoid all the wornout classical guitar pieces. There is so much beginner level medieval, renaissance, and Celtic pieces out there that allow us to avoid classical guitar music. That's just me. YMMV. EDIT: I wanted to add that Carulli, Carcassi, Giuliani have many obscure pieces available for ukulele.
