I am so very interested in the lantern festival. Riding the small boat, lighting the lantern and putting it in the water. I will stay right across from the water at a hotel OR Airbnb. Absolutely love seeing everything come alive and colorful at night.Absolutely Loved Every Minute

I love all the cafes in Vietnam. I'd spend my day bouncing from one to the next just to see the theme/decor. I know you've tried the egg coffee and I think the coconut coffee, but have you tried the salted or peanut coffees? Lots of other stuff to do in Hoi An like cooking classes , food tours ("Steph and Pete" had a great guide last year), coconut boat rides, lantern making, seeing locals make straw sleeping mats or garden, etc. One couple I saw took a tour through Jack Tran Tours that looked really interesting and fun.

Thanks for the lovely comment! Actually my next video is about all the unique and nice cafes around Hoi An haha. It was one my favourite thing to do in Hoi An and I think we end up filming around 10-15 cafes but there were so many more!

Not having change for bigger notes is a typical scam at tourist traps or taxis.
@doodahgurlie Жыл бұрын
How is it a scam? It's not like it's a huge operation as each is independently operated. If each tourist shows up with $20 for an item that is $.50, you expect them all to be able to carry enough to make change for all the tourists?
@doncorleone9294 Жыл бұрын
@@doodahgurlie It's a scam because they say they do not have enough change although they actually do to encite tourists to tip. If an item costs 85k and you pull out 100k, some will pretend to not have 15k. When I tell them, alright I will give you 80k instead, they will suddenly find the missing 15k. Happens all the time. It's not organized crime, it's what some individuals do.
