What a superb walk Jenny. A gorge, a river source, and flowers and meadows with a river running through it. I have to say, that was the finest river source I've ever seen and I've found a few. For your 3rd walk, you weren't doing badly at all. Good going. Mark

Thanks, Mark! It really is amazing, isn't it... really is a strong favourite of mine. That cave went quite a way back. To think that the river will be flowing out of it in a few months' time is surreal. I'd love to see it! 😊

@@bumblejennybee88 A pleasure Jenny. Yeah, it's awesome as is the cave and river. Oh, yeah if you can see it that would be a spectacle.

Hi Jenny and Rob 👋 what a wonderful walk ❤. Everything is beautiful there like gorgeous flowers, waterfalls, cave. Just beautiful. Top of the hill, how you said is absolutely beautiful 🤩. Silly question, how do you now witch way you should have to go? Do you have special maps, apps or anything else ? I will be lost 🤭. Enjoy your cup of tea and cake 👍👋. Thank you to take me for your lovely walk. ❤️👍

Hi Natalia, thank you! It really is a beautiful walk! It really does tick all the boxes! And the flowers and the sweet smell was so lovely. ❤ On this walk, Natalia... it's quite a well known one and is signposted - but to find a different route we just Googled walks around the Dale 😊 We had an OS map too! You are very welcome, I'm glad you enjoyed it ❤

Another great hike Jenny, so scenic thay drone fottage of you guys sitting in front of the cave at 8:00 would be nice picture. Smellavision has to be the next technology to add to KZbin 😅. Always nice to listen to a running river. As my budd Jack says The wind is a KZbinrs enemy lol. I hope you guys have an awesome week my friend.

Haha! Yes, we'll never be able to beat the weather elements 😂 slap the music on, and all is fine! Oh, the smell was divine!! The whole walk had sweetness in the air - probably because of the wind! Thanks for checking in, you too, have a great week! Back to work for me today after 6week summer break! Gonna be tough 😅

Beautiful...saw you went in from the Monyash side...There are really loads of wild flowers that grow down there that don't grow anywhere else in the country and is one of my all time Peak District Dales...I have to ask you Jenny has hubby got his own Channel only cos he has his phone out filming or taking pics on your vids?...It really is amazing that the cave is the source of the Lathkill river and during most of the summer is dry and yet the river is in full flow further down the Dale...I do think it is one of the sources but I do believe not the only one but have yet tried to find another which must come out a further mile down...The history is fantastic down there especially the lead mining and was hoping you filmed some of the many mine openings further on down...The path you took out of the Dale is also beautiful with great scenery and views...I hope you will return again Jenny cos Lathkill Dale carries onto Bradford dale and much further...I do love Lathkill Dale and love your vids also...Come back soon please Jenny❤...Cheers Les.🙂👍 👍

I absolutely love Lathkill Dale, too. When on holiday with parents, we'd walk to where the river is wide (I think I remember a bridge) from there we'd follow a couple of routes back into Monyash. The route me and Robert did was a new one for me... I loved it, though, especially in the wind 😆 Robert has so many gadgets for videoing, photography, and a has a drone, but he hardly ever posts or shares them. He just loves using them. He has posted a couple of videos on his channel of random things, but that's about it. I tell him he should share more! Oh, We will return, I feel so at home in The Peak District and really do love it! This year, we are heading into the Yorkshire Dales - we've travelled through on one of our motorbikes but never stayed there. So, I'm looking forward to that 😃 Thanks, Les, that's kind of you 😊

Hello Jenny , is that a pathway ?, beautiful area. Love the sound of running water . was there any point when you thought where are we?, I can see now when you talked about have a MIC PROBLEM , still the music covered it well , as you say lots of wind. Good video . Jeff
@bumblejennybee884 ай бұрын
Hi Jeff, Yes, there was definitely a pathway under all that foliage and grass 😀 don't think it's walked often, though! Hopefully, by the end of the videos, I'll have sorted the mic out! 🤞🏻 I'm glad you like it. Take care, Jenny 😊

Wow how things can change in 5 months.... the vegetation has grown and the streams from caves are almost bone dry.
