Lovely embellishments, Kathleen. I think fibers, fabric and lace are at the top of my favorites list for adding to journal pages. There are just so many options to choose from, and you have shown us so many ways to add them in. Your ruffles always look so fluffy and pretty. On the blue page that you said you like to save for writing space, was that paper you colored or was it a printed page? I just went back and looked at it again and I think I've answered my own question because I saw the church steeple at the bottom of the page. It is such a beautiful blue with the painterly effect in the sky. This journal just gets prettier every week. I'm looking forward to the final flip through, but I'm also a little bit sad to see the end of the series in sight. However, I know you will have something new and fun coming up next. Thanks for the tip about starching the fabric. That is a great idea.

Starch is something I've never heard of anyone using in Jujos before. What a fabulous idea! What kind do you use? A spray? What brand?

Thanks so much! I’m glad you are finding some ideas. I only have experience with the BigShot embossing machine. I’m very pleased with it, but I wish I could have gotten the bigger one. I often wish I could emboss bigger papers, but the bigger one is much more in cost. And, I don’t know where I would store it, haha.
